Fair Weather Arriving Soon: In More Ways Than One!
Washington County Fair Set For April 2021

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Utah— Fans of the beloved Washington County Fair can look forward to enjoying this annual tradition in true fair weather in 2021. The Washington County Fair has bid a heartfelt adieu to the second week of August and an excited hello to mid-April.

The Washington County Commission made the decision to move the fair from late summer to spring in response to overwhelming feedback received in community surveys. “The number one comment received was that residents were more likely to attend the fair, or more likely to experience greater enjoyment at the fair, if it was held during a cooler time period,” Washington County Commissioner Victor Iverson said.

The Washington County Fair Board is confident residents will appreciate the change in temperature while continuing to enjoy all the traditional staples of our grand county fair. The schedule includes a carnival, parade, Military Wall of Honor, contests, petting zoo, food, barrel racing, junior rodeo, boxing, the crowd-favorite Demolition Derby -and more!

Washington County and Legacy Park are committed to public health and safety. Precautions at the fair will be taken including hand-washing, masks, and physical distancing. Hand sanitizer stations will be located throughout the property. Those who feel sick should stay home.

The first event of the 2021 Washington County Fair will be the National Anthem auditions on January 30th.
