Washington County Fair hosts town hall meeting

The Washington County Commissioners and Washington County Fair Board will host an open forum town hall meeting March 11 from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Washington County Administration Building located at 197 E. Tabernacle Street in St. George. The purpose of the town hall meeting is to address any concerns citizens may have regarding the Washington County Fair scheduled for Aug. 7–10. In a January commission meeting, the St. George Area Chamber of Commerce was awarded the contract for the Washington County Fair and with a fair board will continue the traditions of the county fair to celebrate Washington County and its residents. Fairgoers can still expect to see the petting zoo, agricultural display, boxing, demolition derby, and contests. New this year will be a rodeo, opening night concert, and barn dance.
