Washington County United Utah Party hosts informative picnic

Are you concerned with the current political system? Do you feel like partisanship puts party purity above good government? Are the two dominant parties serving the citizens or the interests of the politicians? The United Utah Party is a new party with the purpose of reforming our political system and restoring the citizens’ role in government. There is an opportunity for Washington County citizens to learn more about the United Utah Party’s exciting movement June 8 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. when Washington County’s United Utah Party will hold a potluck picnic at JC Snow Park. The purpose of the event is to provide a non-pressure atmosphere to mix and mingle with likeminded citizens and learn more about the United Utah Party. Live music will be provided, and door prizes will be distributed to some lucky winners.
Invite some friends to attend this picnic with you. Bring some food to share at this potluck event. Individuals with last names starting with “A” through “I” are encouraged to bring salads, appetizers, and bread; individuals with last names starting with “J” through “S” are encouraged to bring entrees, sides, or vegetables; and individuals with last names starting with “T” through “Z” are encouraged to bring desserts and beverages.
The United Utah Party believes that the chambers of government can have civil discourse about the problems our society faces and find compromises that will benefit all citizens. Currently, politicians seem to be more beholden to party platform and campaign financiers than they are to the citizens they are supposed to represent. We can unite and change that.
