Where Clay Meets Community: Shape Theory’s Next 7-Week Session
Shape Theory Ceramics Community Studio has become a fresh hub of creative energy in Southern Utah, celebrating the success of its first wheel-throwing classes and gearing up for the next 7-week session on March 7. Students who once found themselves wrestling uncooperative lumps of clay have quickly graduated to triumphant “I did it!” moments—proving just how swiftly pottery skills can develop in the right environment.
Ever been curious about ceramics? Perhaps you loved it in high school and have been itching to return. Now’s the perfect time to recapture that excitement. Shape Theory’s instructors report seeing remarkable progress as learners overcome initial frustration and discover the tactile magic of molding clay on the wheel. Beyond technical prowess, a welcoming community has formed: classmates swap tips, cheer each other on, and build connections that extend outside the studio.
Class Details:
- Duration: 7 weeks
- Schedule: One evening per week, 3-hour sessions
