Wine Making Refined at Zion Vineyards

Zion Vineyards in April is time to release new wines! We will have at least three new varietals to Taste and purchase, our Sangiovese Reserve, Cabernet Reserve and Teroldego Reserve.
Sangiovese Reserve, this wine is aged in a New French Oak Barrel, it is medium-bodied, rich and dry with a bright acidity. Fruit driven in character with flavors of cherry and plum, red currants and blackberry. Savory notes of saddle-leather, tobacco, sage and roasted pepper. A perfect food wine paired with full-flavored meats, Osso Bucco, Lasagna, Chicken Cacciatore and Classic Red sauce pasta dishes.
Our Cabernet Reserve This Reserve is aged for a year in a brand-new French Oak barrel.
A full-bodied wine with intense dark fruit flavors of black currants, plum and blueberry, with the woodsy scent of tobacco. Aging in a new French Oak barrel imparts a subtle spice to the wine, with notes of vanilla, clove and caramel with a lingering, velvety smooth finish. Pairs with Steak, Lamb, Wild Game. Hard cheeses, mushrooms, truffles and Dark Chocolate.
Our new Teroldego Reserve, known as a Super Tuscan Red. In Italy this wine is well sought for as a single varietal and as a blending grape in big, bold, well-structured wines. This wine, aged in French Oak is medium-bodied, and well-balanced, with subtle hints of vanilla. Deeply layered dark fruit flavors of blackberry, pomegranate, blueberry and cherry. A smokey aroma, and notes of earth, baking spice and anise. With subtle tannins and smooth finish. A perfect food wine paired with duck, beef steaks, lamb or braised meats and Classic Tomato based Italian dishes.
The Tempranillo Reserve is back. This wine aged in American Oak is full-bodied, with bold notes of vanilla and intense dark fruit. A beautiful balance of earth and fruit. Flavors of cherry, plum, blueberry, tobacco and cedar notes, dill and clove. A smooth rounded mouthfeel and velvety tannins. A perfect food wine paired with Lasagna, Classic tomato-based sauces, BBQ, Grilled meats, tacos, burritos and Chile relleno.
