More construction begins on State Route 9
The Utah Department of Transportation will begin construction on the two passing lane projects on State Route 9 beginning July 30. Construction will take place in the following areas:
—Westbound between mile posts 25.6 and 27.
—Extending eastbound between mile posts 26.4 and 26.7.
—Eastbound and westbound between mile posts 21.22 and 22.9.
Travel lanes will be open in both directions between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. daily. Lane closures with flagmen as needed will be between the hours of 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. During light traffic periods, the lane closures may be extended to 8 p.m. Construction is expected to be completed by mid-December.
