The City of Mesquite Department of Athletics and Leisure Services is pleased to announce that they have received a donation of a vehicle from Southern Nevada Transit Coalition (SNTC). The vehicle is a Meals on Wheels (MOW) truck for transport of meals to seniors that are homebound.

“The SNTC is an amazing organization to work with, and we appreciate all their efforts, and we want to thank them for their generosity and kindness,” said Grisyeda Belalcazar, the senior services supervisor for the Department of Athletics and Leisure Services. “This will help us be more efficient in our deliveries.”

“We have been working with Deb Dauenhauer, Executive Director of the SNTC for about 11 months on this project. The SNTC’s generosity is to be commended,” said Nicholas Montoya, the director of the Athletics and Leisure Services Dept. “We cannot thank them enough for their amazing efforts and donation for the community.”
