Pawsitively Unique BoutiqueThe Pawsitively Unique Boutique thrift store has named Carolyn Reynolds as full-time store manager.

Reynolds is a native of Gretton, England who came to the Salt Lake area in 1994 when her late husband retired from the United States Air Force. She has been a resident of St. George since May 2015.

She has worked previously in the financial services industry and as an office manager. Carolyn loves to decorate and is a frequent shopper at consignment and thrift stores. She shares her home with two dogs and two cats, all rescued.

“I’m very excited to be a part of the Pawsitively Unique Boutique,” she said. “There are a lot of great volunteers who work at the store, and I’m looking forward to working alongside them. I see this as a labor of love for the animals.”

The boutique-style thrift store opened in the spring of 2013 as a way to offset the costs associated with saving homeless animals. Located near the intersection of St. George Boulevard and Bluff Street, the boutique offers unique gifts, collectibles, clothing, and unusual finds. All items are donated, and all proceeds benefit P.A.W.S.

The boutique welcomes donations of new and gently used items. The store is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 am to 5 p.m. On Mondays, the store is open for donations only from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call (435) 414-6061 for more information.

Providing Animals With Support (P.A.W.S) is a nonprofit animal rescue organization founded in 2003. P.A.W.S. also operates an adoption center located at 1125 W 1130 N in St. George. They are open Tuesdays through Fridays from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Other hours are by appointment. P.A.W.S. has lots of dogs and cats who are looking for forever homes. Call (435) 688-9748 for more information, or visit dixiepaws.org.

Both the boutique and the adoption center are in need of volunteers.
