SUU’s Wind Symphony performs John Mackey’s “High Wire”Southern Utah University’s Wind Symphony will perform Oct. 20 at 7:30 p.m. in the Heritage Center Theater. Pieces will include “High Wire” by John Mackey and “Stampede” by Stephen Bryant. The Red Rock Singers will join for Eric Whitacre’s “Seal Lullaby.”

“We work hard to prepare our music and we only get to showcase it a couple of times a semester,” said Aria Williams, a tuba player and music performance major from Gardnerville, Nevada.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and children. Southern Utah University faculty, staff, and students are free with a valid ID card. Faculty and staff IDs are allowed one guest. Tickets can be purchased at the door the night of the show or online at suu.edu/pva.
