Tickets are now on sale for DOVE Center’s sixth annual gala, slated for March 2, 2019 at the SunRiver St. George Ballroom. The gala is the organization’s premier fundraising event of the year. Money raised throughout the event helps to ensure that life-saving services are brought to survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault free of charge.

The evening is especially noteworthy as 2019 is the organization’s 25th anniversary. With this in mind, the gathering is set to be a little different from previous galas.

“We knew we wanted to do something special for DOVE’s 25th anniversary and ultimately decided to make it a celebration of the community, the army of supporters who from day one have provided financial support, volunteerism and sweat-equity to keep DOVE’s doors open,” said community engagement director Adele Pincock. “We chose the theme ‘Love the Dove’ to highlight the love this community has shared in support of survivors for the past quarter century.”

The evening will begin with a social hour, silent auction, and photo booth. Guests will then enjoy a catered dinner followed by live musical performances by the cast of St. George Musical Theater’s 2018 show, “The Marvelous Wonderettes.”

“It is a charming tribute to some of the best pop songs from the ‘50s and ‘60s ever written,” said Hollie Reina, development manager of DOVE Center. “It provides the laughs and the love. We are so excited to have this talent grace our gala stage.”

In addition to the musical performances, guests will enjoy an inspiring multimedia presentation commemorating DOVE Center’s 25th anniversary, and for the first time ever, the gala will feature a live auction complete with a professional auctioneer.

“We anticipate an extraordinary evening, even beyond the impact made through donations,” Pincock said. “We’re really excited to celebrate the shared love for DOVE with our amazing friends, supporters, and partners in this community.”

Tickets typically sell out a month prior to the event, so those interested in attending are encouraged to purchase tickets early to reserve their spot.

Tickets are $125 each and can be purchased by visiting dovecenter.org or this direct link. For information on sponsorship opportunities, email development@dovecenter.org or call (435) 628-1204. To access services or speak with an advocate, call DOVE Center’s 24-hour helpline at (435) 628-0458.
