United Way Dixie Stuff the BusOn Friday, July 29, United Way Dixie will host a “Stuff the Bus” event to collect school supplies and financial donations for children and families in need in the Washington County area. Stuff the Bus will be held at the Allconnect parking lot, located at 1572 S. Dixie Dr. in St. George. The event runs from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m., although donations will be accepted until 6 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

From 8 until 11 a.m. or while supplies last, a pancake breakfast will be served, and Zeppe’s Italian ice will be served from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Bounce houses will be set up.

United Way Dixie provided a list of needed supplies:

—Backpacks.
—Spiral notebooks.
—One-inch black binders.
—Pencils.
—Highlighters.
—Glue Sticks.
—Blue and black pens.
—Erasers.
—Crayons and colored pencils.
—Binder dividers.
—Blunt-tipped scissors
—Index cards.
—Rulers.
—Flash drives.
—Texas Instruments 30X IIs and graphing calculators.
