Springdale Goes Green!

Parade, Food Trucks, Jell-O Sculptures, and More!

The Zion Canyon Visitors Bureau is rolling out the green carpet for its annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Springdale Town Park, 126 Lion Blvd. From 2 PM to 7 PM, anyone looking to celebrate the luck of the Irish can count on a lively day packed with food, music, and plenty of hometown charm.

But the fun starts even earlier! On the morning of March 15, head over to the Canyon Community Center in Springdale for a Green Jello Sculpture Making workshop.

  • Adults: 9:30 AM – 11 AM
  • Kids & Families: 11 AM – 12:30 PM

All the green jello and art supplies you need will be provided, and the event is FREE—just bring your imagination (and any extra items you might want to include in your sculpture). Sponsored by Z-Arts and the Zion Canyon Visitors Bureau, it’s the perfect opportunity to craft a one-of-a-kind piece to enter in the 2025 Green Jello Sculpture Contest. Questions? Call or text Lanell at 435-414-0279.

Later in the day, the St. Patrick’s Day Festival festivities kick off at 2 PM with a parade marching right through town and ending at the park. Once there, festival-goers can explore a variety of food trucks serving up local favorites and holiday-inspired dishes, plus vendor booths offering everything from handcrafted items to fresh treats.

Among the highlights is the ever-popular Green Jell-O Sculpture Contest, where participants showcase their jiggly masterpieces—whether they’re towering structures or whimsical bite-sized creations—in hopes of winning top honors (and ultimate bragging rights).

Local entrepreneurs and community members are still encouraged to join the fun: the festival is seeking food trucks, vendor booths, and parade entries to make this year’s celebration bigger and better than ever. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome.

For more information, visit the Zion Canyon Visitors Bureau Facebook page. Whether you’re there for the parade, the food, or the green jell-o, you’re sure to leave with a little extra luck in your pocket.
