Get ready for a heartfelt musical journey through the decades as Symphony of the Canyons returns with its FREE Summer Concert Series, featuring love songs from the 1970s all the way to the 21st century! With two performances—August 2 in Kanab and August 8 in Page—this season’s offering is filled with nostalgia, top-tier talent, and good vibes for the whole community.
The concerts will highlight sweeping themes from beloved classics like Titanic and Phantom of the Opera, along with a mix of romantic hits performed by accomplished local soloists. Also featured are harpist Linda Alderman-Briscoe and members of the famously talented Downward family. The variety and caliber of performances are sure to strike a chord with audiences of all ages.
Diane Cruz, Events Coordinator for Symphony of the Canyons, shares, “The concerts are a great opportunity to gather with your community and enjoy familiar tunes that make the most of your summer.”
The Kanab concert will take place at 5 PM on Saturday, August 2 at the Kanab Center Ballroom (20 North 100 East), and the Page performance will be at 6 PM Arizona time (7 PM Utah time) on Friday, August 8 at the Cultural Arts Building at Page High School (434 South Lake Powell Boulevard). Details for the Page show can be found on our website.
Thanks to generous support from local cities, these free concerts are made possible not only with beautiful venues, but also the critical behind-the-scenes support needed to move instruments and equipment across state lines.

Musicians from both Arizona and Utah are welcome to join in. Weekly rehearsals take place Thursdays at 7 PM in the Dragon Room at the Kanab Center. Interested in booking Symphony of the Canyons for your event? Reach out at secretary@symphonyofthecanyons.org
