American Crossroads Theatre is getting ready to raise the curtain on its 24th summer season in Cedar City. This year is extra special as the company celebrates America’s 250th anniversary with a lineup of four acclaimed productions at the Heritage Center Theater.

The season kicks off with Mister Lincoln on July 3 and 4. This intimate one-man play brings Abraham Lincoln to life through his own words, sharing the wit and wisdom that helped shape our nation. It is a perfect way to celebrate Independence Day weekend.

The excitement continues the following week as three more Broadway hits join the rotation. Come From Away opens July 9, sharing the moving true story of a small town’s generosity after September 11. On July 10, the beloved classic The Music Man takes the stage, followed by the glitz and glamour of Chicago on July 11.

These four shows will run in repertory through August 8, meaning you have plenty of chances to catch them all. Founder and artistic director Richard Bugg notes that this season is particularly meaningful, reflecting different facets of the American experience through leadership, compassion, optimism, and brilliance.
