Teri
Teri is an exceptional dog with a loving heart and a joyful spirit. She arrived at PAWS from a California shelter about a month ago, and she has quickly become a volunteer favorite. She is house-trained, weighs about 48 pounds, and is a strong, beautiful girl. And she is so sweet!
Teri walks well on a leash and absolutely loves her hikes. She enjoys affection, thrives on spending time with her humans, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She also loves children, making her a great fit for families of many kinds. Teri gets along with everyone.
This sweetheart is ready to bring warmth, companionship, and joy into her forever home. Come in and meet her — you will fall in love the moment you see her.
Billie
Billie is a gorgeous girl with a gentle presence and a heart full of quiet affection. She is loving yet independent, the kind of cat who chooses her people with intention and rewards them with soft companionship, warm purrs, and those perfect chin-scratch moments she adores.
While Billie has lived with other cats, she truly thrives when she can be the only feline in the home. She wants a space where she can relax, feel secure, and enjoy one-on-one attention without competition. Offer her a calm environment, a cozy spot to lounge, and a little conversation now and then, and she will blossom.
Billie will be a wonderful addition to a home that appreciates a cat with both sweetness and self-assurance. If you are looking for a loving companion who knows her own mind and gives her heart thoughtfully, Billie is ready to meet you.
Frankie
Meet Frankie — a stunning, affectionate gentleman looking for his forever home. Frankie is a social, loving cat who adores his humans and has plenty of affection to give. He prefers to be the only cat in the home because he can be protective of his food, but he coexists peacefully with other cats when meals are not involved.
This handsome boy is a 15-pound hunk of love who will happily fill your home — and your heart — with warmth and companionship.
Frankie is ready to meet his new family and start his next chapter. Could that be with you?
T
Meet T, a 10-month-old black beauty with a heart as soft as his sleek fur. T is one sweetheart of a cat, and he proves it the moment you meet him. This handsome boy is affectionate, gentle, and known to purr up a storm the second he gets attention.

Bran
Bran has lived at RSQ for 8 years and has been patiently waiting for his forever home–can you help him find it? This volunteer favorite is popular among people and cats alike. Bran is a cool cat who knows exactly what he wants and isn’t shy about asking for it. He may be independent, but he gets along great with his feline roommates. He is a proud member of the RSQ Bird-Watching Club and spends hours looking out the window. When it comes to mealtime, Bran’s love for canned food knows no bounds – he’s even been known to sneak a pawful from his housemates’ bowls. But don’t worry, it’s all in good fun! Want to add some fun to your life? Bran’s your man! Bran is neutered, vaccinated, and litter-trained. He is good with other cats, but she does not have experience with children or dogs.

They are good with other cats and children, but do not have experience with dogs.

Whether she’s curling up next to you or reaching out for a snuggle, Kiwi makes every moment feel like magic. Kiwi has been excelling in a foster home for the past year, so her transition into your home will be easy.
She adores cuddles, seeks out chin scratches, and isn’t shy about giving little nose kisses to show just how much she cares. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who gives more love than you thought possible, Kiwi is ready to steal your heart (and maybe your lap). Kiwi is spayed, vaccinated, and litter-trained.

Gracie
Gracie is a joyful 2-1/2 year old pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She loves all people and is always ready to play, explore and be part of the action. Gracie has completed a training program and is eager to show off everything she has learned. She enjoys car rides, park trips, camping, swimming, walks, and running around outside. Gracie would thrive with an active family looking for a fun-loving companion to share life’s adventures.
Gracie would do best as the only dog in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention for herself. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, housebroken, uses a dog door, and knows several commands. If you’re looking for a loyal, energetic companion with a zest for life, Gracie is ready to bring love, laughter, and plenty of tail wags to her forever home.
Gunner
Just like in the bayou, a good gumbo gets better with time, and that is just like our sweet senior boy, Gunner. This 12-year-old Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog has the classic speckled coat the breed is known for and a pair of ghost blue eyes that light right up when you grab a toy.
Gunner is a gentle old soul who enjoys friendly dogs and absolutely soaks up all the love and attention he gets from the staff and volunteers. These days, he is looking for a calm, comfortable home where he can go out for a leisurely stroll, then rest his paws, enjoy some companionship, and take life at an easy pace.
Because Gunner is a senior gentleman, he would do best in a home without cats or small children. Older visiting kids are just fine as long as they understand that sometimes an old bayou dog just needs a little peace and quiet.
Dusty
One-year-old Dusty has the cutest overbite, which makes him look like he’s always smiling … or maybe he’s smiling because he’s always happy. He also has somewhat of a cropped tail, adding to his 40 pounds of charm. He’s a friendly boy who enjoys being with people and other dogs.
Make arrangements to meet Dusty today!
Mannix
Mannix is a 5-year-old professional cuddle expert and full-time Velcro dog. If you’ve been searching for a loyal little shadow who believes personal space is overrated, your search may be over. Mannix absolutely adores his people and wants nothing more than to stay close
He does best with adults and gets along well with other dogs. Cats are still an unknown. Mannix enjoys hikes and adventures, but he’s also perfectly happy lounging at home, soaking up attention. Like many sensitive dogs, Mannix can get stressed when left alone, so he is currently working on crate training. Mannix is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to find the forever home he’s been waiting for.
Christopher Robin
Christopher Robin is a 2-year-old Chihuahua mix with a thoughtful soul and a gentle spirit. Just like his storybook namesake, he’s the steady presence everyone else looks to, and he takes that role seriously.
He’s affectionate, observant, and happiest when he’s near his people or his doggy friends. Whether it’s exploring the yard or settling in for a quiet evening, Christopher Robin is the kind of companion who makes every day feel a little more special.
Christopher Robin is a bit wary of men and may become defensive when he feels unsure. While we don’t know his full past, he may not have had positive experiences before. With patience, consistency, and gentle introductions, he is capable of learning to trust and forming strong, lasting bonds.
He would thrive in a loving home where he can continue to be your faithful sidekick and best friend. After all, “you’re braver than you believe,” and Christopher Robin is ready to remind you of that every day.
Christopher Robin has been neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. This little gentleman is ready to head home for his happily ever after.
Maple
Just like her name, Maple is as sweet as maple syrup and ready to find the loving home she deserves. Estimated to be around 2 years old, Maple is a gentle girl with a heart of gold. While we don’t know her full story, we believe she was abandoned in Apple Valley. Maple has beautiful eyes (one brown and one blue) that perfectly match her unique personality. She rides well in the car and is always happy to be part of the adventure.
Maple is happiest spending time with her people. She enjoys relaxing at home, soaking up affection, and curling up beside her favorite humans. She also likes exploring the yard, sniffing new scents, and going for leisurely walks (although she can pull on the leash and would benefit from some continued leash training). It appears that Maple does well with other dogs, chickens, strangers, babies, toddlers, and older children. Her compatibility with cats is unknown.
Ray Ray
Ray Ray is a 7-year-old sweetheart with striking blue eyes, a big personality, and an even bigger heart. At 91 pounds, this lovable chunky monkey has already begun his weight loss journey and is working toward a healthier, happier future. Ray Ray is full of happy energy and loves spending time with people and dogs of all ages, including the new friends he makes wherever he goes. He’s friendly, affectionate, and gets along well with other dogs.
Ray Ray has good manners, is neutered, housebroken, fully vaccinated, and ready to find a family of his own. He does pull on the leash sometimes, so he’ll benefit from some continued work on his walking skills as he sheds those extra pounds. Your loyal companion with beautiful blue eyes, a joyful spirit, and plenty of love to give is waiting to meet you!
