The summer season continues with an exciting lineup of art events at Kolob Gallery in Cedar City. Following a wonderful series of community gatherings and exhibitions, Kolob Gallery is continuing its commitment to supporting artists and celebrating the creative spirit of Southern Utah with upcoming opportunities to experience art, meet artists, and explore the local arts community.
The next Final Friday Art Walk will take place on August 28, inviting visitors to enjoy an evening of art, community, and connection throughout downtown Cedar City. On Saturday, August 29, from 10 AM to 2 PM, Kolob Gallery sponsors the Iron County Artist Studio Tour. This self-guided tour offers a unique opportunity to visit a variety of artist studios throughout the area and discover where artists create their work. The tour will feature Arlene Braithwaite, Mary Jabens, Brad Holt, and several other talented local artists. Maps will be available at Kolob Gallery, and artists will also be painting in the gallery during the event. Visitors are encouraged to stop by, meet artists, and experience the creative process firsthand.
Kolob Gallery’s September Guest Artist will be Julie Rogers, with an opening reception on September 11 from 4 to 6 PM. Celebrated for her pastel, watercolor, and oil works, the exhibition for Rogers will remain on display through the end of October. Guests are invited to attend an evening of art and meet the artist.
Located inside The Art Center in Cedar City, Kolob Gallery is dedicated to promoting local artists through exhibitions and special events.
