Habitat for Humanity hosts ‘70’s-themed casino night fundraiserHabitat for Humanity will host its second annual casino night fundraiser Dec. 30 from 6 to 10:30 p.m at the Hilton Garden Inn in St. George. This year’s event has a ‘70s theme, and the organization has encouraged prospective participants to wear “hippie/flower-power/disco attire.” The fundraiser will feature food, drinks, a silent auction, and photos along with a “diamond dig.” All proceeds from the evening will go to support Habitat for Humanity and its mission ensuring that everyone in Washington County has a safe, affordable, and decent place to live. Tickets are $50 per person in advance or $75 at the door and can be purchased at habitatswu.org or at the ReStore, located at 835 Bluff St. in St. George. The Hilton Garden Inn is located at 1731 S. Convention Center Dr. in St. George.
