Locals donate to increase reward for information about pregnant-elk poacher in Zion National Park

With the recent discovery of a pregnant elk poached in Zion National Park, the National Park Service in conjunction with the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources is aggressively seeking information about the incident and offering a $1,500 reward leading to the arrest of the violator(s). Because this incident has generated significant public interest, a group of citizens has contributed funds to increase the reward amount and are seeking additional donations to encourage successful prosecution of the violator(s).
The Zion Forever Project has agreed to be the custodian of funds for this purpose. The public is invited to donate to this cause and underscore the illegal action. Checks should be made out to “The Zion Forever Project” and sent to the following address:

Should this case remain unsolved, all reward donations will be eventually converted into a Visitor and Resource Protection Donation Account managed by the Zion Forever Project.
