Levisouthern utah adoptable pets Levi

Levi is a loving dog with a great sense of humor! He’s also very smart and eager to please, so he excels at all types of training – he mastered his basic commands while he was a student at a prison-based training program, and at the Sanctuary he has passed the C.L.A.S.S. (Canine Life and Social Skills) training program. He’s looking for a person who can keep his mind busy and make him feel safe while sharing life’s adventures. Levi has a generous sponsor who will pay for his adoption costs.

Ghostridersouthern utah adoptable pets Ghostrider

Ghostrider is a big hunk of a dog. But while he’s big and tough-looking, he’s been friendly and sweet with every person he’s met at the Sanctuary. Ghostrider’s favorite activities include hanging out in the sun with his toys or lounging around inside with his humans, being a big couch potato. He also loves car rides. Ghostrider would do best in a home where he’ll get lots of love and attention because he tends to get a little anxious when left alone. On his leash, he’ll pull when he sees wildlife, so he’ll need a strong person to walk him. At home, he’ll need a yard with a secure fence. Although he can have doggie friends, he would do best as the king of a castle with no other animals. Once you meet him, you may only have eyes for him anyway.

Wynonnasouthern utah adoptable pets Wynonna

Wynonna is a sweet girl who loves to be with her people. Though she is living as an only dog at the Sanctuary, she may be able to live with the right dog down the road in a home. Above all, she’s looking for a patient person or family who can help her with her anxieties. Wynonna is afraid of stormy weather. Medication helps to calm her fears, though she still has a tendency to run away when she is scared. She will need a secure enclosure and someone who will watch over her. Wynonna was born in 2010 and came to us from Texas. She is looking for a safe and understanding home where she can relax and come into her own. Wynonna has a generous sponsor who will cover her adoption costs.

Wrinklessouthern utah adoptable pets Wrinkles

Not much rattles Wrinkles. He’s about as easy-going as they get. But he’s been through a lot. First, he was a Hurricane Katrina survivor. Then off to a rescue group. Now he’s at Best Friends. And through it all, he remains the same relaxed, roll-with-the-punches kind of cat. Born in 2005, he gets along great with other kitties. He could be an only cat or part of the gang, he’s fine either way. He likes meeting new people. He’s not exactly a lap cat, but he will sit for a spell next to you for a little chat and some love. He’d be a great friend to watch TV with. Really, that’s all it would take to make him the happiest cat in the world. Wouldn’t an uncomplicated cat like him make you happy? This calm cat really deserves to settle down as somebody’s best friend!

Tellersouthern utah adoptable pets Teller

This sweet, big boy likes his freedom. He hates being put in a cage but otherwise is an absolute doll. Friendly and mellow, once he gets comfortable with you, Teller would probably be a great lap cat. He likes to go for harness walks and stroller rides. He also enjoys chasing the laser light. Born in 2007, he’s in good health. He came to the Sanctuary from a California cat rescue group. Do you have room in your heart and home for this playful, cuddly cat?

Blackberrysouthern utah adoptable pets Blackberry

Blackberry adores other cats! The perfect playmate, she’s happy just hanging out or playing with her kitty companions. But she prefers to watch people from a safe distance. Born in 2005, she’s in good health. Blackberry came to the Sanctuary from an overcrowded situation in Pahrump, Nevada. Her neglect made it so she is shy around people, but she loves to snuggle with other cats. Blackberry dreams about a home with kitty friends and humans who will give her some space. Would your cats let her come over to play and stay forever?

RSQ Dogs+

Jacksonsouthern utah adoptable pets Jackson

Jackson is a gorgeous Shepard/Pyrenees mix who is full of fun and energy. He’s still a youngster who could use some training and a knowledge of the breed would be helpful. He would do well in a home with other dogs. An active loving family would make a perfect furever home for this big boy.

Aurorasouthern utah adoptable pets Aurora

Aurora is a one-year-old Great Pyrenees (yes, they are big dogs) and is good with preferably older children (due to her size). A meeting with your dog is recommended to make sure they will play well together. She is up to date on vaccines and previously spayed. She is house trained and good with cats. Take a look at those soulful eyes and see if you can’t find a place in your heart for this sweet girl.

Browniesouthern utah adoptable pets Brownie

Back in March, RSQ Dogs received a call about a terrible hoarding situation in California. 30 dogs had been living unattended in a motor home. To avoid euthanasia, RSQ took in 6 of these pups. Brownie, one of those pups, is about 2 years old. He is still skittish around people but he wants so badly to play. He prefers a home without children and is house trained. With patience and love, he could become your best friend and most loyal companion. A second chance for a normal life is all that Brownie is asking.

Cleosouthern utah adotpable pets Cleo

Cleo is an active, outgoing Bengal. She is only around 1 or 2 years old. She may do okay with another pet if given time, but she has a fairly independent personality.

Carlossouthern utah adoptable pets Carlos

Barrysouther utah adoptable pets BARRY

Were you widowed by a grumpy old man? Have you been looking to add another to your life since his passing? BAM has got the dog for you! In all seriousness, little Barry has good reason to be grumpy. He came to BAM with a broken pelvis from a California shelter. Since being at BAM, the poor guy has had to deal with puppies in his space, big dogs who don’t respect him an–adding insult to injury–he now has kidney stones. BAM wants the old guy to catch a break and live out the remainder of his life with someone he can find solace and love. Barry loves to rub his back on the floor and wiggle and loves to have belly rubs. He enjoys certain members of the BAM team while others simply aren’t his cup of tea. To find out more about Barry, meet him and see if he’s a match for you text or call Julie at (435) 773-5209.

Freddiesouthern utah adotpable pets FREDDIE

Freddie is an adorable 5-year-old chihuahua. Freddie came to BAM in very rough shape but, after gaining some weight, having surgery and a dental, he is now ready for his forever home. Freddie loves to snuggle with his humans and likes to play with toys. His foster mom recently learned he even likes to play fetch! He gets along well with small dogs but generally isn’t a big fan of big dogs. Freddie is housebroken with a dog door and is crate trained. He would prefer a quieter home without small children. To meet Freddie or find out how to adopt him, contact Julie at (435) 773-5209. His adoption fee is $125.

Butchsouthern utah adoptable pets BUTCH

Butch joined the BAM family having been labeled a 17-year old dog who was likely more in need of a hospice home than typical rescue. Now that he’s in care and has been seen by their vets, they have the better assessment that he is still a senior but more likely 10–13 years old. Butch, however, has some neurological defects and impaired vision that can make him seem older. In spite of those physical issues, Butch has learned how to cope with two groups of five or more dogs in both his foster home and at their adoption center where he spends most of his days. Butch will often motor around with a funny little wobble but can see shapes or contrast well enough that he doesn’t typically bump into things. Their biggest concern for this little guy is that he ate some gravel and had to undergo surgery to have rocks removed from his system that wasn’t moving either direction. This may be something hell try to do again if unsupervised so they will be quite particular about the home he ends up in to ensure his health and well-being. To find out more about Butch, text or call Julie at (435) 773-5209. His adoption fee is $100 but Butch is also eligible for their Seniors Helping Seniors Program. If you are 65 years of age or older, ask Julie about the program.
