Public employee compensation search at Transparent Utah updated
By Nicole Davis
On Jan. 9, The Office of the State Auditor announced updates to the state’s financial transparency website, Transparent Utah. The new website streamlines the popular search for employee pay. The update also adds graphical insights into financial data for the State of Utah. The enhanced graphical interface provides charts, graphs, and tables on key topics of the State of Utah’s finances.
“These enhancements continue our commitment to providing taxpayers, policymakers, and public interest groups with better financial data and more powerful tools to understand the state’s financial activities,” said State Auditor John Dougall. “We have simplified access to the most popular information and improved system responsiveness. We welcome feedback as we prepare upgrades for local government financial data.”
The Office assumed responsibility for Transparent Utah in 2019 and deployed the upgraded system in collaboration with the Division of Finance.
