Perks
Perks is a giant-sized love sponge with a happy personality. He loves to go on walks (and does so very nicely, as a matter of fact!) He is very friendly around people and wants to let you know just how much he likes you. Because of his ginormous size, we are working on his jumping and other manners. Otherwise, he’s just a big ‘ol teddy bear.
Midas
Meet Midas! This is a talkative boy who loves dogs and people and he’s not afraid to make sure everyone knows it. Midas would do well in a home with another dog so when he’s alone he has someone to keep him company. He loves his chew toys and really enjoys going for long walks, hikes, and car rides. If you are interested in learning more about Midas contact Bestfriends today!
Dean Martin
Sweet Dean Martin came to us from one of our partner rescues with a badly broken hind leg. After consulting with a specialist, it was determined that amputation was the best option for this little guy. And honestly, he doesn’t seem to notice any difference! If anything, he’s getting around better than ever now.
Dean Martin is a young pup that can’t wait for his surgery site to heal so he can finally run around to his heart’s content like all puppies are supposed to! Though his sutures can’t come out until November 9th, he’s ready to blow this joint and head to his new home at any time.
Dean is a sensitive soul that loves to be with his people, and he has done well around other dogs and a cat in his foster home. He can be a little shy when he very first meets a new person, but he warms up quite quickly and is happy to give and receive love.
Could you give this sweet little tripod a loving home where he can be a puppy again?
Derringer
Derringer would love you to know that he is quite the character. He has a lot of personality with super soft fur and a handsome demeanor. This boy is going to be your main man after a long day at the office.
Crash
Crash is a seal-point male siamese with cute crossed eyes and a condition called cerebellar hypoplasia, or CH, which makes him wobble a little. He would prefer a quieter home, but we can teach you what you need to know about his condition and it should never get worse over time. Meet Crash and see what all the fuss is about!
Bonfire
Say hello to your new best friend Bonfire! He is a sweetheart who wants to cuddle with you until the end of time. He is gentle, quiet, gets along well with other cats, and wants to spend his life hanging out with you on your lap, in your bed, and everywhere with you. If you’re ready to meet the most loving and kind cat, come meet Bonfire!
RSQ
RSQ is a non-profit animal rescue in St. George, Utah. Our mission is to be a voice for the voiceless, bettering the lives of animals in Utah’s rural communities. All the animals in our care are fully vetted including spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, and any medical care they may need before adoption. We are open for walk-in visitors on Thursdays, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. For more information on RSQ and our adoptable animals, please contact RSQ at (800) 897-1136 or visit rsqutah.org.
Leia
Leia was adopted from RSQ as a puppy and her adopters do not feel she fits their current lifestyle. She is a mixture of German Shepherd, Great Pyrenees, and Alaskan Malamute. She’s simply gorgeous. Leia is playful and plays well with dogs of all sizes. She is crate trained and is used to going potty outside on rocks or turf. She is shy about potty time and needs to feel comfortable in her surroundings. Leia is great with kids of all ages but is best to be around older children. Her exuberance in play may knock over younger kids. She will need leash training. Leia can’t wait to find her forever home with an active and loyal family.
Scarlett
Scarlett is between 9 months and 1 ½ years old. This adorable mix of breeds (possibly lab too) is anxious to find a fun, loving home. She’s very playful but also loves to love on you. Scarlett likes to play fetch with balls and stuffed animals. She will need a patient adopter to help her with some training. Scarlett doesn’t want you to think about adopting her tomorrow. Do it today!
Archie
Archie is a young red heeler/cattle dog. He is very loving and playful and enjoys playing with other dogs and people. He’s a good walker and will need someone to patiently train him. Archie needs an active family as his breed is one that needs play and exercise.
Baby “Daddy”
This young Baby “Daddy” was recently rescued with many of his offspring. Daddy is sweet nurtured and can’t wait to be in a home with lots of toys. He’s got a way with the girls and loves attention. Daddy is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone.
Tom and Jerry
Tom’s and Jerry‘s mother was a very, very young cat who was not ready to be a mother. She lost interest in her kittens, and they went into a special foster home who bottle fed them until they were 6 weeks old. Tom and Jerry are now in a new foster home and would love to find a permanent home. They are sweet, bonded kitten brothers and at this age we recommend they be adopted together. Both Tom and Jerry are house-trained.

Ruby’s Puppies
Meet the puppies! Nine beautiful puppies were born to Ruby right here at That BAM Place. Available LOCALLY ONLY starting November 14 as foster to adopt (once spayed/neutered, the adoption will be complete), these puppies are cuddly and energetic, and adorable, and come in a wide variety of colors and markings.
Cassia
Cassia (pronounced ka-shee-uh) is a cinnamon spice that fits her coloring and personality. She is adventurous and brave and, most of all, determined! Even for being so little, she still looks at two flights of stairs as a challenge and she’s growing to love the doggie pool. She plays hard, then gives a sweet look saying she’s ready to curl up on your chest and fall asleep. She loves to be snuggled.
Cassia is a puppy and loves to chew. Be prepared to keep toys and turkey tendons around if you value your shoes!
Cassia is available LOCALLY ONLY as a foster to adopt. Once she has been spayed, the adoption will be completed and she’ll be all yours! Meanwhile, we’re already accepting applications.
Mocha
If you’re looking for a puppy but don’t want to deal with all the “puppy-ness” and “puppy-mess,” look no further! Adopt Mocha and get the best of both worlds! He’s still just a baby (under a year old) but 100% potty trained and crate trained! He’s an expert on leash, a perfect gentleman in the car, and loves every person and dog he’s ever met.
Mocha is a mixed breed pup who looks like a chocolate lab, shepherd, Staffordshire mix but who really knows!? His ears have a life of their own and get a bit goofier every day!
Mocha is very affectionate and eager to please. He’s also very high-energy and would love to live with another dog who likes to play. He would be the perfect jogging or hiking companion, too!
Mocha is being fostered in Kanab but can travel to meet you if you’re interested in adopting. Just submit a BAM Adoption Application and, if approved, we’ll contact you as soon as possible to arrange a meeting. If you don’t hear back within 7 days, please text us at 435-773-5209.
Tango
Tango is a one-year-old purebred Miniature Pinscher. He’s a little shy until he gets to know you but then is very friendly, cuddly, and playful. He’ll even sleep with you! He loves other dogs, was raised with a large boxer and is comfortable with the 3 big dogs at his foster parent’s house. He’s even cat-friendly! He walks well and enjoys car rides.
Tango is vaccinated, neutered, and housebroken. He’s a bit overweight and will benefit from being kept on a healthy regimen of exercise and appropriate food.
Stella
For pitties sake! Really–no interest in this beautiful girl? How can that be? Stella is a wonderful, kind girl looking for love. At five to six years, she had very likely never experienced it before coming to BAM and every day she shows us her gratitude and affection. She’s finally figured out that people want to love her…and we all do! Stella e is so ready to start a new chapter in her life now with nothing but love in store.
Stella was so gentle when she played with her puppies but now they’ve all gone to their forever homes leaving her alone and lonely. She really wants someone to hold her close and play tug with her.
Gentle as she is, she had occasionally acted very protective of her puppies when other dogs or kids were nearby. For that reason, she may do best as a solo dog with no kids (or maybe ok with older, respectful kids), and, we assume, no cats.
Titan and Keeva: Double the LOVE!!!
Meet this bonded pair: Titan (95 lb Male, 6 yrs) and Keeva (60 lb Female, 5 yrs). Keeva was 8 wks old when she met her big brother and they are tightly bonded. They were their mom and dad’s only children and did everything together: mountain camping, hiking, car rides, playing in streams, strolling the neighborhood. They are primarily house pets but obviously love being active in the outdoors and using their doggy door to explore the yard.
The family has now expanded with an infant and a toddler. Managing two full-time jobs and the babies has added stress and put a strain on the time and care mom and dad can spend with them. The dogs feel the difference and are longing for their pre-baby life back. Mom and Dad’s hearts are broken but feel it is only fair to find the perfect, active family for these two to get their show back on the road.
With the proper introduction, they are good with children and all animals, including cats. If children, 10 or older would be preferable so these dogs can get the attention they need. Huskies need to be part of the pack. They are not happy to be an outdoor pet that is not part of the family. With a little daily exercise and a home of their own, they make absolutely wonderful pets.
