American Crossroads Theatre, formerly known as the Neil Simon Festival, will celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary with a four-show summer season presented in repertory from June 26 through Aug. 8.
The 2026 lineup features the Tony Award-winning musicals Come From Away, The Music Man, and Chicago, along with the acclaimed one-man play Mister Lincoln. Together, the productions explore American history, resilience, ambition, community, and leadership through stories that span generations of the American experience.

The season begins with The Music Man, performing June 26 through July 2 at the Vista School Theatre in Ivins before joining the repertory schedule in Cedar City. The Cedar City season officially launches during Independence Day weekend with performances of Mister Lincoln on July 3 and 4. The remaining productions open July 9, 10, and 11, with all four shows rotating through Aug. 8 at the Heritage Center Theater.
Come From Away tells the true story of 7,000 airline passengers stranded in Newfoundland following the events of Sept. 11, 2001, and the small community that welcomed them with extraordinary kindness and generosity.
Meredith Willson’s beloved The Music Man follows charismatic con man Harold Hill as he unexpectedly discovers friendship, love, and community in small-town America.
One of Broadway’s longest-running musicals, Chicago delivers sharp satire, unforgettable music, and dazzling choreography in a story of fame, ambition, and media sensationalism during the Jazz Age.
Mister Lincoln offers an intimate portrait of Abraham Lincoln through his own words, bringing to life the wisdom, humor, humanity, and leadership of one of America’s most revered presidents.
“This season is our tribute to the American story,” said Richard Bugg, founder and artistic director of American Crossroads Theatre. “As our nation celebrates its 250th anniversary, we wanted to present works that reflect the many facets of the American experience.”
Bugg added that the season celebrates not only great American theater, but also the values, challenges, humor, and humanity that connect communities.
Now celebrating its 24th season, American Crossroads Theatre is a nonprofit professional theater company dedicated to creating accessible theatrical experiences that inspire imagination, foster empathy, and celebrate the power of storytelling.
