Ken Church

Ken Church is a full-time professional artist from York, England, who now lives in Toquerville, Utah.

He paints in an open impressionist style, characterized by dark outlines, bold brush strokes, and expressive lines. Though his painting style is quite consistent, his subject matter spans a broader spectrum, including landscapes, animals, portraits and large canvas abstract impressions on a musical theme.

After graduating from the York School of Art in England, Church received a scholarship to study fine art and painting at Brigham Young University, and moved to the U.S. His postgraduate studies continued in drawing and illustration at The Art Center College in California and at the Advertising Center in Los Angeles.

Church spent 40 years working for major advertising agencies in the Los Angeles area. As an award-winning creative director he created and directed major advertising campaigns including TV commercials and brand realignment initiatives.

In 2017 Church concluded his advertising career and moved to the hills of Toquerville, Utah, where he began painting full-time. His work began to sell immediately, including several large, commissioned paintings.

No date has been set for Ken’s Open House. Visit www.arrowheadgallery-etc.com for more information.
