B.A.C.A. Benefit ConcertA benefit for Bikers Against Child Abuse (B.A.C.A.) will take place at the Hurricane Fine Arts Center on Friday, Oct. 30, from 6-10 p.m. The goal of the concert is to raise enough funds to secure much needed therapy for a year for three children that have been sexually, physically, or emotionally abused. The concert will feature four bands rocking the night away for a great cause: The Raven Cain Band, BrickWalker, Carlie Wall, and The Hawk Brothers. In addition, the event will have food trucks, vendors, artists, and giveaways. It promises to be a spectacular family-friendly night.

B.A.C.A. Benefit ConcertBikers Against Child Abuse, Inc (B.A.C.A) is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization that exists to provide aid, comfort, safety, and support for children that have been abused. They are dedicated to the principle that one of the basic rights of childhood is to be safe and protected, and when the child’s family and environment has failed them, they stand ready to provide it to them. The organization of dedicated individuals are willing to sacrifice any and all in order to protect and secure a child’s basic right to a happy childhood.

The local B.A.C.A. chapter is very active in the community. Justin “Twist” Lefevre, the president of the B.A.C.A. St. George chapter said the benefit concert was the idea of Raven Cain.

“Raven has been a huge supporter of B.A.C.A. for a long time,” Lefevre said. “He came to me and was like, I want to do an event with some bands and vendors and just make it a huge party, and I want to give all the money to [B.A.C.A.]. The awareness and community support that B.A.C.A. has been receiving the last little while is phenomenal. The more people who know who we are, the more we can help abused children. That’s really the only reason this organization exists.”

Cain said he just wanted B.A.C.A. to have the funds they needed to do what they do best.

B.A.C.A. Benefit Concert“The goal of this event is to raise enough money to fund much needed therapy for three kids for a year,” Cain said. “BrickWalker said they are going to tear the house down. The Hawk Brothers told me they have a show no one has ever seen before, and they are going to blow your mind. Carlie Wall is straight off of her campaign to bring a young boy home (Macin Smith, #macinsarmy). And [the Raven Cain Band] will be there, and I am going to do everything I possibly can to make it the best damn Friday night you have ever had. We are going to do everything in our power to raise as much money for B.A.C.A. It is going to be one of the most incredible events Hurricane, Utah, has ever seen. We will be unveiling a song I wrote for B.A.C.A. called ‘HELL YEAH’ at the benefit concert on Friday.”

“This event is my heart,” Cain continued. “It is for a group that exists to do nothing but good. Everything they do is about empowering our children and help them heal and break the chains of abuse.”
