Cedar City Arts Council presents second 2018 Final Friday Art Walk

The Cedar City Arts Council’s second Final Friday Art Walk of the season will take place July 27. Live music, art demonstrations, art activities, and more await you from 5 to 8 p.m. along University Boulevard and down 100 West. The Final Friday Art Walk set for July is free and open to the public.
The Southern Utah Space Foundation will have its solar telescope out to look at the sun and provide fun art projects. The Sagebrush Fiber Artisans Guild is set for the lawn at 100 West and Center Street as well as an art activity from the Cedar City Arts Council. Adrienne Marie Anderson (Twisted Sister) and Amber Griffin (Sunshine Pearl Dives) will both be there presenting their jewelry on the green. The Red Rock Film Festival will have information.
Joey Favino will present art demonstrations outside Stone Path and has an exhibit inside. Roice Nelson presents original songs from 6 to 7 p.m.
An exhibit by Micah Player and art demonstrations by Anne Stein are set for the Artisans Gallery during Final Friday Art Walk. Vocalist and guitarist Jay Jackson will perform from 6 to 7 p.m. at Artisans.
Wilhelm, a gypsy jazz ensemble, will play at the SUMA plaza from 5 to 7 p.m. A jewelry making workshop taught by Valerie Smith will take place on the SUMA plaza. The James Surls sculpture exhibit will be accessible during Final Friday Art Walk. There will be make-n-take activities in the SUMA classroom, and light refreshments will be available.
Art Works Gallery will feature Las Vegas watercolor artist Anja Whitemyer. Red Acre Farm will pop up with to-go goodies for the Final Friday Art Walk stroll or the Green Show. Mary Converse from Wild Roots Farm will also be at Art Works with her hand-crafted soaps and other special concoctions. Sofie Scaletta, a guitarist, will perform from 5 to 8 p.m. at the gallery.
IG Winery will host a performance by violinist Alex Suzhay from 7 to 8 p.m.
