Cedar City hosts this year’s last Final Friday Art Walk

The Sept. 27 Final Friday Art Walk in Cedar City, held from 5 to 8 p.m., will feature brilliant performing artists Roice Nelson, the Southern Utah String Quartet, MB3 Jazz, Clark Leslie, and Bill and Loretta Westbrook.

Final Friday Art Walk features various art forms, live music, art demonstrations, and art exhibitions. The Final Friday Art Walks are free events and the exhibits are open throughout the summer. This will be the last Final Friday Art Walk event for 2019.

Art demonstrations and art exhibitions will be featured on the lawn at 100 W and Center Street, including displays by the Sagebrush Fiber Artisans, Larry Laskowski, Hanna Dawson, Cab Creations, Carole Foster, Kimberley Batcho, Lydia Brescia, and Tom Baldwin. Performances will be presented throughout the evening in designated locations along Center Street.

The Southern Utah String Quartet will perform at SUMA. Stone Path Healing Center will host Bill and Loretta Westbrook. Sofie Scaletta will perform at Art Works Gallery. Artisans Gallery will host art demonstrations and performances from Clark Leslie and MB3 Jazz.

A free historic downtown walking tour will take place at 7:30 p.m. beginning at the corner of Center Street and Main Street next to the Boomer’s building. The tour will be led by local historian Ryan Paul.
