Chalk artists invited as part of Tour of Utah in Cedar City
Artists are invited to participate in the chalk art exhibit Aug. 7, starting at 7 a.m. at the Southern Utah Museum of Art on the corner of 300 W and University Boulevard in Cedar City. Three more professional artists are sought to participate, and there will also be a space for community chalk art along the walkway between SUMA and the Randall Theater. The location is near the finish line for the Tour of Utah race.
“We will have all the areas designated and roped out ready for artists,” said Randy Seely. “Chalk will also be ready and distributed. We just need local talent to show up. The nice thing too is that because we are under the patio canopy it won’t matter if it rains on us or not we can just still keep chalking.”
