If you are looking for a night that combines side-splitting laughter with world-class music, you are in luck. Comedian Andy Beningo and The Mighty Steelheads are teaming up to bring a unique night of entertainment to the local stage. This pairing promises a family-friendly experience that truly has something for everyone.

Andy Beningo has built a reputation as one of the most in-demand comedians today, with over 3,500 career performances under his belt. Hailed for his “every man” style, he has been named one of the top 40 up-and-coming comedians in the country and earned “Best Comedian” honors from the Detroit Metro Times. You might recognize him from his Drybar Comedy special, Adorable Tough Guy, which has racked up millions of views on social media. His relatable humor often touches on his experiences growing up as a middle child, his brief stint as a middle school teacher, and our modern obsession with technology.

Joining Beningo is The Mighty Steelheads, a multi-genre band that describes their style as playing everything from “Jones to The Stones”. The group’s founder and bandleader, Vern Monnett, is making a special return to his roots for this performance. Having grown up in LaVerkin, Monnett is excited to perform for friends and family. His impressive career includes over a decade as the pedal steel guitarist for the legendary Freddy Fender, as well as work with Randy Meisner and an on-screen appearance with Dolly Parton in The Beverly Hillbillies.

The rest of the band is equally accomplished. Frank John Colli brings over 45 years of professional experience as an award-winning singer and guitarist. Bassist Rob Jacob is a 30-year veteran of the music scene known for his laid-back style, while drummer Nicholas Sandoval brings high energy to the group with his love for all musical styles. It is a rare opportunity to see this level of talent all on one stage.
