Culture Club comes to TuacahnGrammy Award-winning band Culture Club will visit Tuacahn Amphitheatre on Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. The first alternative supergroup of the ‘80s is back with its original lineup, including Boy George.

Culture Club will revisit hits such as “Karma Chameleon,” “Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?” and “I’ll Tumble 4 Ya.”

Since their inception in the U.K. in 1981, Culture Club amassed 12 top 40 hit singles between 1982 and 1999, and “Karma Chameleon” topped the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 in 1984. In 2014, the band reformed and announced a tour and a new album. Its 2015 tour was such a success that the band announced a larger, 40-city summer tour in 2016.

Their recent shows have garnered rave reviews from the press since reforming.

“Culture Club is … a true show band, with a master at its center,” said Bob Lefsetz of their 2015 show at the Greek Theatre. “If you like to go out, if you like to feel good, if you like to be transported by music, if you are in search of authenticity in a land inundated by fake … then this is your gig!”

“Boy George has always been a pillar of self-expressionism and of the power to be whoever you want to be,” said Gabe Echazabal of Creating Loafing. “[The] splashy, colorful show was a glittering example of the glitz and pizzazz he still has and proved his star power is still as shiny and effervescent as ever.”

Tickets are on sale at the Tuacahn Box Office or online at Tuacahn.org.
