How sweet it is to hear James Taylor songs in concert! On May 18 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., David Jorgensen will perform one of his most popular signature tribute concerts at Kayenta.

For many of us growing up in the 20th century, our life’s soundtrack probably has a few songs from one of the best crooners of our generation, James Taylor: “Fire and Rain,” “You’ve Got a Friend,” “Carolina In My Mind,” “Sweet Baby James,” and “How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You).” Gifted vocalist and guitarist David Jorgensen brings to life the best songs of our beloved James Taylor. Come solo or bring a friend! Join fellow fans to listen to some of the best music ever made — sung with heart and soul — live in an intimate setting.

Southern Utah native David Jorgensen has spent years perfecting his classical guitar and vocal performance techniques as well as writing songs. His passion for ‘70s music and musicians led him down the path of creating tribute performances of great ‘70s-era musicians while weaving in some of his original songs. Jorgensen’s local performances in countless venues have gained him a solid, loyal fan base, and we’re very proud and excited to share his passionate music with Kayenta audiences. Jorgensen will be joined onstage by bassist Teren Christensen and percussionist Jason Gottfried.

Tickets are $30 and can be purchased here.
