Dirty Rotten Scoundrels coming to St. George Musical Theater

Dirty Rotten ScoundrelsThe Independent

As part of its successful comeback season, St. George Musical Theater will present the musical comedy “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” starting on January 15th. This production marks the debut of this production in the southern Utah area and will be familiar to those who know the 1988 film starring Steve Martin and Michael Caine.

The story about two swindlers with very different styles contains terrific music and very energetic dance numbers that you are not going to want to miss. Local favorite Brodie Perry stars as Freddy Benson while veteran actor Bruce Bennett co-stars as Lawrence Jameson. The talented ensemble features some of southern Utah’s best singers and dancers who add sparkle to the lively script that is both elegant and wildly humorous. The show is directed by Kerry Perry with choreography by Karen Westfall.

“Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” runs from Jan. 15 to Feb. 14.

Tickets are $16-$20 and can be purchased at www.sgmusicaltheater.com or by calling 1-866-967-8167.
