Eagle Point opens for 2014/2015 seasonWritten by Greta Hyland

Just in time for the holiday break, Eagle Point Sky Resort opened last weekend, kickstarting the 2014/2015 ski and snowboard season. The Monarch and Skyline lifts plus 12 runs will be open, as well as the entire upper side of the resort with a 14-24″ base, but the steep side will need more snow to open it. An update will be provided with any new snowfall. Until more terrain is opened, lift tickets will be offered at a low $30 for adults and $21 for children.

All other operations will be in full service including lodging, rentals, lessons, the Skyline Cafe and the Outpost Bar & Grill. It is recommended that you call 855-EAGLE-PT for rental and lesson reservations before your arrival from now until January 4, 2015.

Want to spend the night or the weekend at Eagle Point? Condos start at $149 plus tax. And it’s not just the ski resort that has kicked off, so has the entertainment season at the Canyonside Lodge. Check out the schedule below for dates and times.

The Powder Shuttle will be making runs from Las Vegas and St. George every Saturday beginning opening day. The cost for transportation AND a lift ticket with the Powder Shuttle package is $55 from Las Vegas and $35 from St. George. Prices are subject to change once new terrain is opened. Call the Powder Shuttle for reservations and information at 435-862-7641.

Eagle Point Resort is located along Interstate 15 just three and a half hours from Las Vegas or Salt Lake City. For more information about Eagle Point Resort visit http://eaglepointresort.com or https://www.facebook.com/EaglePointResort.
