Frontier Homestead State Park presents Haunted Homestead
By Todd Prince
To get you and yours into the Halloween mood, Frontier Homestead State Park’s Haunted Homestead returns Oct. 11 and 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. each night. There will be creative Halloween-themed games, spooky crafts, ghost stories, and other haunting surprises. Admission is $5 per family or $2 per person. Friends of the Museum members get in free.
On Oct. 14, join the ever-popular cemetery tour. Meet in the museum parking lot at 6:30 p.m. to learn about some of the more interesting headstones and stories about the graveyard. Please dress for the weather and bring a flashlight. Admission is free to this event.
Join Oct. 17 for More Than Ghost Stories: Paranormal Investigations in Southern Utah. Join local paranormal investigators as they recount their ghost-hunting adventures over the past 10 years. The team has conducted investigations at numerous locations in an attempt to separate folklore and stories from genuine paranormal activities. Evidence from the investigations will be presented and discussed. The program begins at 7 p.m. and is free to the public.
