Olliesouthern utah adoptable pets Ollie

Ollie has come a long way since he came to the sanctuary. He used to be really shy with strangers, but now he pulls his caregivers towards new volunteers to meet them. He also loves to sit and lean on people and soak up all the love and attention. Ollie was born in 2013, and he loves the great outdoors. He walks perfectly on a leash, enjoys having some space to roam around in, and would make a fantastic running partner. Although he may be able to live with the right dog, he’d prefer to be someone’s one and only. Ollie does have separation anxiety, so his ideal home would be one where his person is home most of the time and is willing to take the time to work with him. Ollie has a generous sponsor who will cover his adoption costs.

Nuecesouthern utah adoptable pets Nuece

In the company of people, Nuece is happy and sweet. He absolutely loves everybody he meets. He also enjoys his cushy bed and lying in the warm sun. Born in 2007, he takes some prescription medication for arthritic elbows and his thyroid. He is picky with his doggie friends and prefers females. He is working on crate training at the sanctuary. If you are looking for a mature gentleman who will adore you, Nuece could be the one.

Mocha Toosouthern utah adoptable pets MochaToo

Mocha Too was born in 2007 and came to us when she was 5 from a shelter in Colorado. She is in good health but is quite shy. She goes for walks and rides in the car. She goes on outings in a car around the sanctuary and is getting better at it all the time. She has had many sleepovers and makes progress every time. She’s good with other dogs but prefers when people and dogs don’t come on to her too strongly. Sanctuary visit required.

Olliesouthern utah adoptable pets Olliecat

This laid-back big boy enjoys cat naps and rolling around in the sunshine. You can often find Ollie playing with his kitty friends. A little nervous around humans, he’s warming up and letting people pet him more and more often, and he likes to be brushed. Rescued with other cats from a hoarding situation in California, he was born in 2010 and is in good health. Ollie would be awfully grateful to find a real home.

Naomisouthern utah adoptable pets Naomi

Naomi is very shy, but if you approach her slowly with a bowl of food, you can coax her to come to you. She’ll even let you pet her while she eats. If startled, she will hiss, but that’s only out of fear. She does fine with other cats. We estimate she was born in 2013. She was living in a warehouse when it was sold, and the new owner wanted the cats out. Naomi would like to be more social; she’s just very unsure about all the changes. But she’d like to have one more change to a forever home where she can settle in and blossom.

Matrixsouthern utah adoptable pets Matrix

Matrix arrived from years of living in the desert and was pretty terrified of people. But his caregivers here gave him lots of love, and he’s learned that people aren’t so bad. We think he was born around 2005. He’s healthy and gets along fine with other cats. We think he’d really blossom if a patient person is willing to help him and provide him with catnip and fun toys.

Kailanisouthern utah adoptable pets Kailani New

Kailani is a 3-year-old Chiweenie and weighs in at about 12 pounds. When she came to the shelter, she was very timid and seemed scared of everything; fortunately, they were able to place her in an amazing foster home where she has started to come out of her shell. She gets along with other dogs and actually does best on walks when she has another dog along. She would do best in a quieter home with someone who is very patient and willing to help Kailani conquer her fears. While Kailani enjoys her foster home, she would love to go to a fur-ever home soon.

Stellasouthern utah adoptable pets Stella

Stella is 3–4 years old, and she is the sweetest girl. She’s a bit cautious around new people and dogs but warms pretty quickly. She loves the park, car rides, belly rubs, kisses, and cuddles. Stella is a total lovebug who just needs a bit of reassurance from time to time. She does well with other dogs and mostly ignores cats. Stella is currently in a foster but would love to find her fur-ever home soon.

Speedbumpsouthern utah adoptable pets Speedbump

Speedbump was released to us from the Hildale impound and is very scared. She likes to stay right by people but does not do well with the other dogs at the center. She is very sedate and doesn’t really play right now, but with a little love, attention, and time, she would probably love to play fetch and tug-o-war. Will you help Speedbump learn that she’s loved and how to have fun?

Scarboroughsouthern utah adoptable pets Scarbrough

Scarborough came to RSQ DOGS+ with kittens in tow, but now the family members are ready to find their own homes. Scarborough is very sweet and loves to be petted.

Shelbysouthern utah adoptable pets shelby

Shelby is a few years old. She has a deformity on her right front paw that appears to be an injury that happened as a kitten or a deformity that she was born with. It doesn’t slow her down or seem to cause her any pain, though.

Buddysouthern utah adoptable pets Buddy

Buddy is a pitbull terrier and is 7 months old. His owner could no longer keep him. He was very well cared for. As a puppy he had parvo, and his owners treated and cared for him until he was well. He is house trained and leash trained. He is a strong boy but is super attentive and listens well. He is a very striking-looking dog. Buddy is easily handled. His adoption fee is $60.

Montysouthern utah adoptable pets Monty

Monty is a pit blend. He was abandoned by his owners at a neighbor’s house. Monty is confused but very sweet and easily handled. He loves being with people. He does well on a leash, and he knows the “sit” and “wait” commands. His adoption fee is $60.

Hazzardsouthenr utah adoptable pets Hazzard

Hazzard “Hazzy” is a pit blend. His owner could no longer keep him. He is a very nice gentle dog who loves everyone he meets. He is a calm dog who enjoys just chilling out with you. His adoption fee is $60.

Nalasouthern utah adoptable pets Nala

Milliesouthern utah adoptable pets Millie

Millie was found in a local casino hotel room. She is super friendly. Millie wants to be with people all the time, and she will follow you around because she loves to be held and cuddled. Katysouthern utah adoptable pets Katy 1

Rileysouthern utah adoptable pets RILEY2

Best buddy, companion extraordinaire, Velcro pal, cuddler, lover: all these describe Riley. She is an absolutely wonderful dog who loves nothing more than to be with the people she loves. Oh, and of course playing ball. Riley will sit and look at you adoringly as long as you want her to. This is the dog who in a snowstorm will lie by your side and keep you warm until help comes. Or if there is no snow storm, she will crawl up on the couch beside you and help you watch TV. She likes long walks and would make a good jogging partner or hiking pal. She gets along with other dogs but can be a little possessive of toys, food, and attention, so she would do best as the only dog and prefers a home without cats or other small animals. To meet Riley call (435) 773-5209 or stop by That BAM Place located at 44 W. State Street in Hurricane any day except Sunday between the hours of 10 a.m. and noon. Her adoption fee is $125.

Chicosouthern utah adoptable pets CHICO

This adorable little dog was born to be a lap warmer. Of course, Chico also likes to do other things, like play, ride in the car, sleep on your bed with you, and be a best buddy. He did have to have his left rear leg amputated when it did not heal correctly after a break, but he doesn’t seem to miss it and gets around just fine. He’s a friendly, loving little guy just waiting for his forever family. To find out more about Chico, contact Phyllis at (435) 705-9227. His adoption fee is $125.

Lexisouthern utah adoptable pets LEXI

Lexi is a 5-year-old blue-nose pit with a sad story. She was dumped out of a car and left in Las Vegas. Through her microchip, she was traced to an elderly gentleman who had Lexi for the first few years of her life but had to move to assisted living and re-homed her. Information on her stops at that point until she was dumped out of a car. She’s good with cats and kids. She needs work on leash training and staying around when not on the leash (she thinks you’re playing when she runs off). Other than that, she is an absolute peach. She is a complete snuggle bug who loves belly rubs and gives the best kisses with her giant tongue! She is so easy to love and has tons of love to give. A very friendly dog, she gets along with everybody. She’s been good with other dogs when the other dogs are somewhat calm. She hasn’t shown signs of aggression but gets too energetic when other dogs do and doesn’t realize how big she is. She has arthritis and has mild skin allergies. Her adoption fee is $125. For more information on Lexi or to make an appointment to meet her, contact Shayde at (208) 420-3764.

Banana and Bonita are available separately or together for $15 each. Call (435) 773-5209 or stop by That BAM Place located at 44 W.
