Intermountain Dixie Regional Medical Center hosts National Dance Day event
Intermountain Dixie Regional Medical Center will host a National Dance Day event July 28 from 8 to 10 p.m. outside of Dixie Regional’s Health & Performance Center. There is no charge to attend. People of all ages and levels of dance experience are invited to participate. Free snacks and drinks will be available for all participants.
“Dance is the universal language of exercise,” said Trevor Smith, Regional Manager of the Intermountain Live Well Center at Dixie Regional. “It’s a great way to enjoy life and stay fit.”
National Dance Day was created in 2010 by “So You Think You Can Dance” co-creator and Dizzy Feet Foundation co-president Nigel Lythgoe. The day is held nationwide on the last Saturday of every July. Each year, local groups show off their dances and encourage partygoers to get in on the action. For more information, call (435) 251-2159.
