Iron County holds surplus saleIron County holds surplus sale

By Jon Whittaker

Iron County will hold a surplus sale April 19 and 20 from 2 to 4 p.m. each day at the Fiddlers Canyon Building in Cedar City. The items for sale include used chairs, desks, tables, maintenance supplies, sewing machines, and various other items. The sale is due to relocating Iron County Staff subsequent to a repair and remodel of the Iron County Courthouse.

The objective of the sale is to dispose of excess property. Therefore, the prices will be deeply discounted. For items under $10, the price will be as listed, and the item can be purchased immediately. For items greater than $10, sealed bids may be submitted that include the item, the contact information of the buyer, and the bid amount. At 4 p.m. each day, the sealed bids will be opened, and the highest bidder will be notified that he or she was successful. Successful bidders will have 24 hours to provide payment and retrieve the item. All sales are final with no warranty, and availability is first come, first served.

The Fiddlers Canyon Building is located at 88 E. Fiddlers Canyon Road in Cedar City. Questions may be directed to the Iron County Clerk’s Office at (435) 477-8340.
