It’s that time again for Kayenta Acoustic Roots Music Art – or K.A.R.M.A Fest as we like to call it!  It’s three days of outdoor concerts; a time for refueling, releasing, renewing, and relaxing.  Enjoy live outdoor music, fantastic weather, and fabulous scenery in Ivins, Utah, while listening to fantastic live outdoor music. K.A.R.M.A. Fest happens September 15, 16, and 17, 2022, on the outside Waltons Common Plaza in the beautiful Kayenta Art Village and features three uniquely refreshing concerts.  Come for one or all three concerts.  Special discount packages are available for multiple nights.

About the Concerts

Cello Society of Southern Utah performs Songs of the Heart. Thursday, September 15 at 7:30 PM.

The Cello Society of Southern Utah (CSSU) ensemble brings together cellists from Southern Utah and surrounding areas to explore the exciting multi-cello repertoire in ensembles. Listening to this group of cellists outside, under the stars and the red mountains of Ivins is an event not to be missed.

Aiden Barrick and Elise West – Celebrate Love for All.  Friday, September 16th at 7:30 PM.  Aiden and Elise are Southern Utah favorites. Their music is intimate and refreshing.

Aiden Barrick an indie-folk rock musician, songwriter, and spoken word artist. Aiden’s live performances are emotive, intimate and powerful with a voice that expresses truths in an evocative story-telling style with significant depth, smooth edges and gutsy honesty.

Elise West is a very sensitive and innovative composer-performer. Her fresh piano stylings take the listener to a softer, quieter place. Elise’s music has a purpose and an identity that continues to inspire all who listen to her music. Her experiences with the loss of family has given her the opportunity to learn from life’s tough lessons and heartaches and has been her main inspiration and passion behind her unique musical style. Elise’s music has a purpose and an identity that continues  to inspire all who listen to her music. Her experiences with the loss of family (her younger brother Scott, who took his life at the young age of 28, her older brother, Bryan, who died at age 39 from AIDS and her best friend and mother passed away suddenly in Feb. 2002) has given her the opportunity to learn from life’s tough lessons and heartaches and has been her main inspiration and passion behind her unique musical style

Kristen J Lloyd – Found My Brave. September 17, 2022, at 7:30 PM

Not only Kristen a talented blues and folk singer and musician, she is also a very skilled artist, cartoonist, motivational speaker, business consultant and life coach.

Kristen came from a broken family. She was pulled from school after 5th grade and struggled with fear and anxiety for most of her life as a result. However, Kristen was able to use her talents, her love for animals, and her faith in God to rise above the odds and Find Her Brave. She now has a bachelor’s degree in Commercial Music with a minor in Business from Brigham Young University. She has also learned how to overcome her fears to achieve her personal and professional goals.
