Kanab Arts Magazine returns, seeks submissions
By Michael Schoenfeld
The Kanab Arts Magazine is the yearly publication of the Kanab Arts Board. After a hiatus in 2017 for restructuring, the magazine’s editorial staff is currently seeking submissions for the 2018 issue. Preference will be given to content that is either created by local authors and artists or about life in “Kanab Country,” the geographic area in and around Kane County. Meeting both criteria strengthens your submission. Our mission is to showcase the heart, soul, and history of this rare and beautiful place. The Kanab Arts Board reserves the right to select which submissions will be printed.
The content must be wholly original in nature. Please do not submit content that is not created by you. Submissions may include literature, links to videos of performances, design art, and photographs of art or sculpture. Photos should be of print quality and resolution.
Along with your content submission, please include your name as you want it to appear in print, contact information (such as email and phone number), the title and subtitle of your piece, the date of creation (please nothing older than three years) and a bio, about 50 words, saying who you are, what you do, where you live, and why you write or create art. Headshots and website information are optional.
The submission deadline is March 1. Please email submissions to kanabarts@gmail.com.
