Kanab offers a host of outdoor events in JuneSeveral outdoor events are set to take place in Kanab this month, including multiple events at Duck Creek Village and a two-day relay race.

On June 10 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., National Get Outdoors Day will take place at the New Navajo Lake Loop Trail on Cedar Mountain. The event will feature information booths, mountain biking demonstrations and instruction, and food vendors.

Jacob Hamblin Days, an annual festival celebrating the western heritage of Kane County, will be held June 16 and 17. More information is available at jacobhamblindays.com.

On June 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Father’s Day Shine and Show Car Show will take place at Duck Creek Village. The event will feature food, music, and prizes. More information is available at duckcreekvillage.com.

On June 23 and 24, the Top of Zion Relay will take place. This is a 195-mile, two-day relay race from Capitol Reef to Zion National Park. Participants can register at topofzion.com.

The annual Independence Day celebration kick-off will be held June 30 from 6 to 10 p.m. at Duck Creek Village. The event will feature live music and games. More information is available at duckcreekvillage.com.

On July 1, Duck Creek Village’s annual Independence Day celebration will take place. There will be a pancake breakfast at the fire station from 8:30 to 11 a.m. An Independence Day parade will begin at True Value at 6:30 p.m. A band will perform at the Duck On In Saloon from 4 to 10 p.m. with a break for the parade.
