Rehearsals for Handel’s “Messiah”—produced by the Orchestra of Southern Utah—begin Sunday, Oct. 18, and as of Friday, Oct. 16, the group is still looking for for some additional vocalists, particularly tenors and basses. Rehearsals will take place each Sunday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the LDS church on 1120 W. Greenslake Drive in Cedar City. There will be no rehearsal on Sunday, Nov. 29. Two Thursday rehearsals will be held on Dec. 3 and Dec. 10 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Heritage Center. There will be a dress rehearsal Saturday, Dec. 12, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Heritage Center. There is no audition, but consistent attendance is expected.

Sheet music is available at Cedar Music Store. If you are interested in being part of the group, please show up for the first rehearsal this Sunday, Oct. 18.
