FRIDAY…
* WHAT…Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 2
feet expected. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.
* WHERE…Southern Mountains.
* WHEN…From noon Wednesday to 4 PM MST Friday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Prepare for Winter Driving Conditions,
beginning Wednesday afternoon and lasting into Friday. Make
sure to have a emergency survival kit if you must travel. Travel
will likely be very difficult.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you
must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your
vehicle in case of an emergency.
