In celebration of its three months-long winter wonderland festivities, Ruby’s Inn, the closest all-season hotel near Bryce Canyon National Park, has announced the opening of its ice-skating rink. The celebration will continue with events such as a special Christmas buffet and a “Neon” themed New Year’s Eve party to celebrate the holidays.

The winter wonderland activities will run until Feb. 16, 2019. The festivities are all located across from Ruby’s Inn at the Winter Activity Center in the Ebenezer’s Barn & Grill building. Guests of the historic 102-year-old inn and locals can enjoy cross-country skiing, sleigh rides, snowshoe rental, and horseback riding.

The “Neon New Year’s Eve” celebration is open to adults and children at Ebenezer’s Barn & Grill. The countdown to 2019 begins at 8:30 p.m. Dec. 31. Ruby’s Inn is offering guests an all-you-can-eat finger-food menu, party favors, and a live DJ from St. George-based company Festival Sounds. The DJ will keep guests dancing until the balloon drop at midnight and into the early hours of the new year.

Ruby’s will also host a Christmas Eve dinner buffet in the Cowboy Buffet and Steak Room featuring classic holiday staples. Guest can also order food from a limited restaurant menu. Additionally, the restaurant has a Christmas Day buffet with seating for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The winter season ends in February 2019.
