second round of stimulus checks
Pandemic Relief Fantasia by R.J. Matson, CQ Roll Call

President Donald Trump said Friday that the White House is looking into ways to provide stimulus funding outside of a congressional bill, such as utilizing money allocated to emergency pandemic programs.

Negotiations to reach a deal have remained stagnant for almost a month despite bipartisan calls for compromise on the size and scope of the package. Republicans are expected to present a much smaller relief bill, worth $500 billion, after the Senate reconvenes next week, but it isn’t expected to pass the House of Representatives. A later bill that includes a check is also a possibility, and that should affect the timeline even more.

Do You Think We Need Another Round of Stimulus Checks?
