Soul-Filling Tunes Of “The National Parks” Set To Captivate St. George Art Festival Visitors
March 29, 2024
Known for their soul-filling folk music, which draws inspiration from their surroundings, The National Parks are set to take St. George on a musical journey during a free concert on March 29 at 7 PM as part of the St. George Art Festival. Taking place just outside Historic Town Square (50 S. Main Street) along Tabernacle Street, The National Parks’ concert is sure to create an enthralling experience for all in attendance.
“We are beyond thrilled to bring a well-known headliner band to the St. George Art Festival, adding even more heart and soul to our event,” said Peyton Lee, Community Arts Manager. “Join us for an entertaining show as their music is like a breath of fresh air.”
The Provo, Utah, based indie folk-pop band offers a combination of vocals, guitar, keys, drums, and violin, which have generated 150 million streams of their songs. Their latest album release — the fifth from the band since their inception in 2012 — is “8th Wonder,” and the band is scheduled to play at the famed Lollapalooza in August.
The National Parks concert is free and open to the public. Those planning to attend are urged to arrive early.
“Last year, we had the idea of elevating the Art Festival by bringing in a headliner band. The Spazmatics played to an enthusiastic audience on Tabernacle Street, which proved to us that we needed to continue to bring these types of bands here,” Lee added. “The enchanting sounds of The National Parks captivate hearts, and I hope you all will want to be part of this unforgettable festival experience.”
The two-day St. George Art Festival opens on March 29 at 11 a.m., continuing until the concert begins at 7 p.m. Then, on March 30, the festival runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Experience family-friendly fun with a Kids Creation Station, the Art Attack 5K and 1-mile race, tasty food, live music, and a display of fine art from over 160 talented artists — ensuring fun for everyone.
