During the month of April, Friends of Ivins Animal Shelter is celebrating its 10-year anniversary. Everyone who adopts a cat or dog from the shelter will receive a free information packet and a drawing ticket. The drawing will be held at the end of the month. Separate drawings will be held for cat and dog adopters.

About this pet: Buffy was found as a stray. She is very shy around strangers until she gets to know them and understands that they are there to love her. She has taken a little 2-month-old kitten, Oreo, into her care, allows him to sleep with her, and keeps him company. She is a loving cat who deserves a home of her own.

About this pet: Oreo is 2 months old and was found as a stray with two brothers and sisters. Oreo is the only one not adopted, and he is very lonely and cries for his family. He is very playful and loving. Buffy has taken to caring for him, but he is still very lonely and needs human companionship.
