Want to know what pure joy and fun look like? Watch Guy do any kind of training session! He loves it so much and has a blast doing it! He also enjoys a good romp in the wild or working his nose to identify all of the cool new scents on the trail. Whatever you want to do, Guy is up for the game. Even if you just need a quiet night in lounging on the couch. He is a guy who can wear many hats. Though he would need some time to settle into a new routine and place, he would love to have a home to hang those hats. Please contact our adoptions team if you would like to know more about this handsome, charming, intelligent, loving Guy.

Joysouthern utah adoptable pets Joy

She could either be completely attentive or daydreaming. Who can tell by those ears? Joy offers the best of both worlds! Her attentive side is eager to please people. She already responds to sit, stay, down and come. All she wants in return are love and tummy rubs, which bring us to–her dreamy side! Those belly scratches send her right into a fantasy world. Those eyes are usually laser-focused, but you can just see her zone out under the spell of your touch. Her dreams are filled with wishes for love and belly rubs from a person of her very own. Joy has Babesia, a blood disorder usually picked up from a tick bite. Because it can be transmitted among dogs, Joy must be an only child. But she’s ready and willing to give you as much love as an entire pack! Born in 2006, this smart, outgoing gal also loves to run and play. Everyone needs more joy in their life; how about bringing this Joy into yours? Joy has a generous sponsor who will pay for the transportation costs to her new home.

Castielsouthern utah adoptable pets Castiel

Castiel is a laid-back guy who enjoys everything life has to offer. He loves toys, treats, and affection. He also enjoys going for walks and playing with other dogs. Eager to learn, Castiel likes to use his brain to figure out food puzzles. He is working on his tendency to guard food and other resources and is generally very friendly and affectionate. Born in 2012 and found on the streets of Albuquerque, Castiel can’t wait to be a loyal companion to a person of his own.

Asanasouthern utah adoptable pets Asana

Asana is a young tri-colored tiger with big serious eyes, a lot of gold and a perfect orange diadem on her forehead. Born in 2011, she came from a shelter in California. When she first arrived at Best Friends, she kept her distance from people. But as time has gone by, she has come out of her shell more and more. She enjoys wand toys and likes when you talk to her. Asana has a sweet nature but is sensitive to touch along her spine. The slight crook of her hips and tail end are due to a healed pelvic fracture. This has caused her to be incontinent and she has to be expressed twice a day. She’s quiet and thoughtful, and she would love your gentle attention.

Banjosouthern utah adoptable pets Banjo

Listen to Banjo purr for a little while and you’ll start to understand his name. It doesn’t take long for him to start a song. He loves attention and being petted and he lets you know it. He seeks love from anywhere it might be found? new faces, old friends, other felines or even palling around with the pooches. Banjo is brimming with love for everyone! Banjo came to us from a rescue group in Texas. He tests positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). You certainly wouldn’t guess that by looking at him or listening to him. He has no visible signs of the condition. Besides being FIV, he has no health issues. And he’s still quite young, born in 2009. So if you like lap cats, Banjo will gladly take that spot for years to come.

Hersheysouthern utah adoptable pets Hershey

Hershey is a funny little black cat with a knobby three-quarter length tail and very round green eyes. She was born in 2005 and came from an overcrowded situation in Nevada. Because she was never handled as a youngster, she will probably hiss and run if you approach her. On the other hand, she likes to strut her stuff when the other kitties are petted! You can bribe her with some crunchy treats. She deserves to know how kind humans can be.

Logansouthern utah adoptable pets Logan

Logan is an 8-month-old cattle dog who was found with his sister, Echo, out on the Arizona strip. Here is what his foster mom says about him: “Logan is a marshmallow! Even with his high energy Heeler instincts, he would be content to spend half his time in your lap being loved on. He has a heavier build and a bit of baby fat which makes him extra fun to snuggle. His favorite outdoor activity is playing with and in the water!!! Can’t get enough!!! He is sweet with little dogs and is a quick learner. Walks beautifully on a leash and is house trained. He spends his days playing, running around, sleeping, snuggling and doing walk-by lickings every chance he gets! He is a pup and needs lots of good things available to chew on…even then, your sneakers and garden hose need to be put away. He is a sweet young teddy bear ready to bond and love his forever family.”

JJsouthern utah adoptable pets JJ

He is currently being treated for respiratory illness, and will need dental work before he can officially be adopted out, but would love the chance at a foster-to-adopt home where he can heal in a comfortable environment.

Smitherssouthern utah adoptable pets Smithers

Smithers is a clown. He is a goofy kitten in an adult-sized body. He loves playing with other cats and toys. And he will never miss an opportunity to sit in your lap if you will let him. He is very trusting to new people and he will make an excellent companion. Go meet Smithers at RSQ Cat World!

Lisasouthern utah adoptable pets LIsa

Lisa is approximately 9 months to 1 year old. She came to RSQ Dogs very shut down and malnourished. Lisa never tried to bite or growl at RSQ Dogs volunteers. She would just make herself as small as possible, close her eyes and try to hide. She has overcome very severe respiratory infection and she has also spent time socializing in a loving foster home. Now she spends her days climbing cat towers and running around playing with the other kittens in RSQ Cat World. She is very petite and will stay a small cat.

Teddysouthern utah adoptable pets TEDDY

Meet this adorable fluffball, Teddy. Teddy is oozing with love and happiness. He has blended in fabulously with his foster home but wants to find his forever home ASAP. Is it with you? Teddy gets along great with dogs and cats, people too. Teddy needs regular grooming every 2-3 months to keep his coat magnificent and brushing 1 or 2 times/week. As any good groomer will tell you, shaving double-coated dogs like Teddy is not recommended; however, a shorter cut is ok if preferred. To find out more about Teddy, meet her and see if she’s a match for you, text or call, Julie at (435) 773-5209.

Sochisouthern utah adoptable pets Sochi

Sochi is an active young lady that would love to have a family that wants to take her walking, running or hiking with them. She gets along well with other dogs but she is somewhat dominant. If joining a dog sibling, a meet should be scheduled to make sure they are compatible. BAM hasn’t had the opportunity to test her with cats but could make arrangements to do so if wanted. To find out more about Sochi, meet her and see if she’s a match for you, text or call, Julie at (435) 773-5209.

Rigbysouthern utah adoptable pets Rigby

Rigby is a very fun-loving, snuggly puppy. She does well with almost all dogs of all ages and sizes and loves to play. She loves kids and does well at respecting kids’ space even avoiding knocking her fosters toddler down. She is crate trained but does have occasional accidents as puppies do as they are learning. She has pretty typical puppy behaviors and does like to chew things so, like any puppy, she’ll need good chew toys and your attention and guidance. To find out more about Rigby, meet her and see if she’s a match for you, text or call, Julie at (435) 773-5209.

Domsouthern utah adoptable pets DOM

Dom is the most lovable puppy-dog-eyed Beagle/Bassett Hound blend you’ll ever meet. This low-rider came to live at That BAM Place while suffering from Cherry Eye (it doesn’t look great but is mostly cosmetic) but that is being corrected and, after that, he’ll be ready for his new family. Dom has clearly lived in a home before and has pretty impressive manners (although he does get up on BAM’s sofa and is still working on the dog door). Though Dom doesn’t bay like a hound, he has a bit of separation anxiety at the adoption center when he has to be put in his kennel while other dogs are out. This would likely be different in a home environment and we do offer trial placements to make sure he is right for you and your home. Dom does not do well with young children. Although Dom gets along with the wide variety of dogs they have in residence with him (often napping with the smallest 6-pound dog), he would enjoy being an only dog as he prefers to be with people over dogs if given the choice. To find out more about Dom or arrange a meeting with him, contact Julie at (435) 773-5209 by texting or calling. His adoption fee is $125.

Barrysouther utah adoptable pets BARRY

Were you widowed by a grumpy old man? Have you been looking to add another to your life since his passing? BAM has got the dog for you! In all seriousness, little Barry has good reason to be grumpy. He came to BAM with a broken pelvis from a California shelter. Since being at BAM, the poor guy has had to deal with puppies in his space, big dogs who don’t respect him an–adding insult to injury–he now has kidney stones. BAM wants the old guy to catch a break and live out the remainder of his life with someone he can find solace and love. Barry loves to rub his back on the floor and wiggle and loves to have belly rubs. He enjoys certain members of the BAM team while others simply aren’t his cup of tea. To find out more about Barry, meet him and see if he’s a match for you, text or call, Julie at (435) 773-5209.

Missysouthern utah adoptable pets MISSY

Missy is a gorgeous blue Cane Corso/Pit blend who was very reserved when she first joined BAM but has begun to come out of her shell in foster care. They are sure this means that an adoptive home would get to see even more of her personality shine. Missy would love a person or family that she didn’t have to share with another dog. However, it may just be that she prefers to be the only girl dog in the home, so if you have a male dog and would like to introduce them, BAM can facilitate that. Missy might look tough but deep down she is just a softy that loves to give kisses and cuddles. She also loves to go on walks and car rides and gets a little sad when you leave her behind. She is very choosy on who her furry house companions are because she likes a lot of love so she does best being the only dog. However, she doesn’t mind other dogs visiting. Missy is 100% potty trained and would be best with older children because she needs a quiet environment. She is a wonderful dog who will be a great addition to someone’s family. Missy is a medium dog with a lot of muscle, so she would be a good exercise companion and it would help her stay fit too. To find out more about Missy text or call Julie at (435) 773-5209. Missy’s adoption fee is $125.
