Chelsea

Hello! I’m Chelsea. I’m a super sweet pup! Like most pups, I am working on my training and would love to continue that in my new home. I love attention and pets and I love running and playing.

I love every human I see so fill out an adoption application to meet me and see if I’d be the perfect addition to your family!

Asteria

What’s not to love about Asteria? This girl is quiet and likes to relax in a comfy bed, but welcomes gentle attention with purrs and head butts.

She has a beautiful, soft coat and just wants a warm lap to curl up on. Come meet this sweet girl!

Rufus

If you like the strong silent type, you will love Rufus. Rufus is a shy boy, who tends to be independent and keep to himself. His idea of being social is being in the same room where he can observe, but from a safe distance where he can’t be pet. His favorite thing in the whole world is calm, quiet walks where he can sniff and sniff until his heart is content.

Rufus definitely has a soft spot in his heart for his best friend Talina (also available for adoption), and other doggie friends. He has also lived with cat friends in the past. This boy would love a nice quiet home where he can relax and nap the day away with his buddies.

People are still quite scary to this middle-aged man, but he has learned to trust enough to be able to enjoy the small things in life, and even offer his people a small kiss here and there.

Talina

Talina is one of the sweetest hound dogs you will ever meet. The only thing “hound” about this dog is her love of food, and her bay (which she seldom lets out). The main thing this girl wants is to be able to cuddle up on the pillow beside you in bed, and her own spot on the couch.

Talina has been shy her whole life. She takes a while to warm up to people and gain trust. She wears her heart on her “sleeve” and the world is a scary place. She loves nice quiet walks (in calm areas, without a lot of traffic), food, and friends. She definitely relies on and takes cues from her doggie friends. Talina has lived with cats in her previous home and currently is in foster with her very best friend Rufus (who came from the same home and is also up for adoption) and a Chihuahua. She is a very gentle soul and is just looking for someone to offer her love and patience in her golden years.

Quirky

Quirky is not just a clever name, he is also a clever cat. This beautiful, fluffy boy loves other cats and people. Would you like to meet him today? He is a bonded pair with his brother Rudy and they are available for adoption together.

Rudy

Rudy, like his brother, Quirky, is a beautiful, sweet, fluffy boy. They are a bonded pair and love cats and people alike. Would you like to give some sweet twins a loving home?

Bernadette

Sweet Bernadette was found raising her 11 puppies, all on her own, in less-than-ideal living quarters. This strong and independent single mama is moving on up with assistance from her volunteer family at RSQ who have all fallen in love with her and her babies.

She is calm and quiet, but friendly and affectionate. We are working on her commands, but she walks great on a leash and stays very close to you. An absolutely amazing Mama who deserves an absolutely amazing home. Apply to meet this gorgeous girl today.

Denali

Denali is such a gentle giant! He likes to play but definitely likes to be around his people. He listens very well and is super friendly! He is really starting to love his walks and building his confidence.

Denali is house-trained and would be good in a home with children, with other dogs, or alone. Apply to meet sweet Denali today!

Sunny and Lemon

Meet bonded pair Sunny and Lemon! These sweet girls are very social. They would love a home where they could continue to hang out together.

They are both already spayed and ready to hop on outta here! Apply to meet these cute girls at rsqutah.org.

Maisie

Miss Maisie is a very expressive, lovable, and goofy young girl who is guaranteed to steal your heart. She unfortunately had a rough start including a severe spinal injury and infection that resulted in the amputation of her tail and has complicated her ability to potty. While she does have some control of her faculties, her condition still requires her bladder to be expressed twice daily and careful management of her diet.

Maisie does not know she is any different than any other cat! She is full of life and doesn’t let anything hold her back. Do you have what it takes to give this girl the home she deserves?

Comet

Meet Comet, a delightful kitten with a name as bright as his personality. His curious nature leads him on countless adventures, but he’s also happy to snuggle up and enjoy a cozy nap.

Get ready to fall in love with this little ball of energy!

Sputnik

Meet Sputnik, a charming black kitten who is as cute as she is brave. Despite her small size, Sputnik is not afraid to explore new places and meet new people.

Ollie

Ollie is an active dog who came to us as a stray. He loves walks and mental games but he also loves to run and play. He’s a fast learner, catching on to phrases and commands quickly, he knows the commands sit and wait.

He would be the ideal companion for an active family or someone who enjoys a daily run. With his alert, inquisitive nature, he is sure to excel at obedience training.

Ollie is a friendly dog who loves attention. He is very smart and pays attention to you and gates.

Dillon

Play, play, and more play – that’s what Dillon is best at! He is a very friendly boy who will make a wonderful addition to any family who has the stamina to meet his energy levels.

This boy will be your best friend! Dillon is a faithful, friendly, affectionate dog. He loves attention and petting. He knows how to “sit”, and he loves to play with balls and the stuffed green alligator. Dillon is always longing for attention – he would be a great companion! Your buddy would always be right there.

Lucas

Lucas can be a bit sensitive and it may take time for him to settle into your life with you. Once he feels more secure there’s no doubt that he’ll be playful and active. He would do best with older children who can respect his boundaries and be patient with him while he settles in.

With patience and lots of treats, of course, Lucas will open up and become a great addition to the group. He’ll need daily exercise and interactive play time with you.

Lucas has lived in a backyard and is not comfortable being inside a home at this time. He is not house-trained. He loves attention, quiet, and just chilling.

Bear

Bear came in as a stray and is now looking for his new forever home. We do not believe he has ever lived inside a home. He is shy at first but once he warms up to you, he loves attention.

Bear can be a bit sensitive and it may take time for him to settle into your home with you. Once he feels more secure there’s no doubt that he’ll be playful and active.

Garfield

Hi there. I like to take things pretty slow – I’m in no great hurry to get anywhere – except perhaps your lap for some love and affection. If you want a relaxed companion; someone to kick back and cuddle with after a hard day’s work, I’m the cat for you”.

Garfield is extra large but not overweight. He loves to be petted and loved – just the perfect best friend for some lucky person. Garfield will hang out with you while you are watching TV or at the computer. Garfield is mellow and laid back and is learning to play with toys.

Macy

Macy is a small/medium dog at around 30 pounds. She is a beautiful blend of a little bit of everything! She is approximately 3-4 years old. She can be a little shy at first but warms up quickly.

This blond cutie is a good girl on the leash and likes long walks. She would do well in an active, adult-only home. Macy would love to have a home where an adult is with her most of the time.

She does great with other well-behaved dogs. Macy is spayed and up-to-date with her vaccinations. She absolutely loves watching DogTV! This girl is paws-itively perfect and would love a home of her very own.

Dodger

Dodger is an adorable chihuahua mix. He’s just a little over one year old and weighs around 10 pounds. Dodger is a sweet little nugget who loves to cuddle!

He also does great on a leash. In addition, Dodger is good with other dogs, cats, and kids. He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

He really is perfect in every way!

Skipper

Skipper is a darling Dachshund mix. He is great with kids and dogs. Skipper likes to go for walks and car rides, and he enjoys snuggling on the couch.

He was adopted from us a year and a half ago and sadly lost his human to old age. Skipper is a little sad and confused but he is in a wonderful foster home right now while looking for his new fur-ever home.

Skipper is a sweet little guy and would make a great new best friend for anyone!

She’s an adorable kitten full of spunky silliness! Topaz enjoys playing with her bunkmates. And when she’s all tuckered out from those crazy kitten antics, she loves to cuddle up with her friends for a nice cat nap.

This striped feline is sure to grow into an exquisite adult cat. Don’t miss out on the chance to adopt this little jewel of a kitten!

Elvis

Five-year-old Elvis is a big galoof who loves everyone he meets (although he didn’t show much interest in cats). He’s a gentle giant who plays well with all sizes of dogs…even the little ones and puppies. He adores kids but can knock a little one over just giving a good sniff. He has an EXCELLENT sniffer!

Although he’s pretty quiet most of the time, the signature hound bay howl comes out when he plays. It’s adorable!

Elvis seems to have some training. He bolted on us once when we first got him but has been great since then. His new adopter just needs to be aware it can happen and they need to keep him safe, especially getting into and out of cars.

Bonnie

Bonnie has a happy tail and always wakes up in a good mood ready to start the day with a few kisses. She is approximately 2-3 years old and is the perfect size for a “tweener” dog (between big and little).

Bonnie is a shy girl who, we suspect, was abused which made her afraid of so many things. Fortunately, her foster mama has made a big difference and feels it’s time to find Bonnie’s family where she can continue to gain confidence and learn to blossom into the dog she was born to be.

Bonnie likes going for walks & hikes plus she loves car rides and being near her person. She’s very food motivated and a quick learner. Bonnie is housebroken with a doggy door and crate trained (although she would rather stay out with you). She would love another outgoing fun-loving dog to play with as she relies on other dogs to let her know if a situation is safe or not and would do best without small children as sudden movements and loud noises can frighten her. She requires a secure fenced yard.

Oscar

Do you like Chocolate? You just can’t get any sweeter than this gentle giant. Oscar is kennel trained and does well on his own outside a kennel. He shows no destructive behavior. He’s obedient, friendly, protective, calm, and quiet and he loves to snuggle on the couch. What more could you ask?

Oscar was recently surrendered due to a housing situation. At eight years old, he is a playful goofball (he has a huge bin of toys) and will try to get multiple toys in his mouth. He does well on a leash. He knows his basic commands and sits nicely for treats and meals. He has been socializing well at doggy daycare with male and female dogs. He enjoys older, respectful kids. He has not been cat tested.

Oscar was diagnosed with epilepsy a year ago after having a petit mal seizure (non-violent shaking) but no loss of consciousness. He takes medication twice a day (with peanut butter) to keep from having another one. He is at a good healthy weight at 80 pounds.

Bing

Two-year-old brothers Bing and Chunk were surrendered together and Chunk has been adopted but…his brother Bing is still waiting.  Are you his furever family?

Bing, named for his beautiful Bing Crosby eyes, is energetic, playful, and loves to chew (antlers and durable toys preferred). He also enjoys cuddling and giving kisses.  Bing has some fear of riding in cars and freezes up and doesn’t want to get in. However, after just a few trips to the dog park with our fabulous volunteers, he’s already becoming more relaxed and has a great time once he gets there. Trips to other fun places should help him continue with his progress.

Bing is good with other dogs, cats, and kids and will make a great addition to an active family. As puppies, Bing may do better with older children who will make sure not to leave toys laying around. (Did we mention he does love to chew and will need supervision since he will swallow toys if allowed). Bing would benefit from some training as he can jump and be mouthy when excited and hasn’t had much experience walking on a leash. A  loving family with room to play and time to help socialize him will solve many of these behavioral issues.

Izzy

One-year-old Izzy is such a happy girl. She adores everyone (ok, we don’t know about cats yet) and loves to romp with kids, other dogs, or by herself if no one else is available.

Izzy is housebroken, spayed, microchipped, and fully vetted. This super-sweet girl is anxious to begin her new life with a special person or family that adores her. She’s super smart and has a lot of puppy energy still so might do best with a family with kids and/or other dogs and would love a big yard to explore.
