Chelsea

Hello! I’m Chelsea. I’m a super sweet pup! Like most pups, I am working on my training and would love to continue that in my new home.

I love attention and pets and I love running and playing. I love every human I see so fill out an adoption application to meet me and see if I’d be the perfect addition to your family!

Boyd

Boyd may be a big boy but he still thinks he’s a lap dog and loves lots of attention. He enjoys walks, car rides, and lots of petting. Boyd’s personality is a mix of couch potato and adventure buddy; he’s happy with either of these things as long as he’s hanging out with a human friend.

At the Sanctuary, he lives alone, but he has spent time in a home with other dogs and did very well. Come and get to know a great senior guy Boyd; he’s been waiting to meet you.

Billy

Billy is such a handsome affectionate boy! With his wrinkly forehead and his perky ears, you won’t be able to get enough of this goofball! Billy loves to bring his toys to people and is happy to throw them in the air by himself.

He is calm in the car and loves to go on hikes. Billy can be a great walking partner, but he can also be a nice cuddle buddy as Billy loves a good nap too!

Billy would do best living with only an adult family as the only pet. His DNA test revealed that he’s 50% Boxer and 50% American Pit Bull Terrier.

Aloy

Aloy is a reserved little girl just waiting for her chance to be the cat she wants to be. Very gentle, and sweet, she would be a great addition to any lap.

She is in need of someone to come take her in and give her a nice warm home. You won’t regret it.

Alafair

Alafair is a sweet cat with a gorgeous coat. She loves rubbing against and hanging out with her feline friends, but she is less openly affectionate toward people. She’s shy but curious and loves playing with wand toys.

She prefers that humans not touch her, but she may come out of her shell in a loving home with cat friends. Can you give this sweet girl the home she needs to grow?

Atticus

Atticus! The minute you meet this ball of orange fuzz, he will come right up to you for love and attention, rolling all over to expose his fluffy belly! He would do best in a calm home where he can feel safe and relaxed.

Atticus wants to be pet all over and spoiled with your attention! This big, beautiful boy wants to be YOUR best friend, do you have the perfect home for him?

Luna Lu

Luna Lu is a gorgeous little border collie. She was found as a stray up in the mountains along with her sister Kira. Luna Lu is a petite girl and is less than a year old. She is great with people and other dogs and seems to not mind cats at all either.

Border collies are wicked smart and so is Luna Lu. She could be a great agility dog or just an easy addition to any family. She is house-trained, kennel-trained, and is very calm for a young dog.

She is currently living in a foster home with other dogs and is going great! Apply to meet sweet Luna Lu at rsqutah.org.

Charlie

Charlie is the best friend you’ve always wished you had. He brings energy, happiness, and the best cuddles everywhere he goes. If you’re looking for a playful pup look no further. He’s made such a positive impact on his foster home that they hate to see him go but know he’s gonna make the right home a happy one.

He loves a good cuddle session, playing with his foster bro Hank (mini golden doodle), relaxing with a good chew toy, and the occasional sunbathing. He even respects the foster’s senior teacup chihuahua’s boundaries. Friendly with dogs and kids but hasn’t met a cat yet. Oh – and he’s so incredibly soft!

Bolt

“Can Anybody Find Me Somebody to Love”? Bolt is the definition of a big bundle of love. He loves kids and longs for a family with room for him in their hearts, a backyard, perhaps a doggy door, and a comfy bed.

He puts himself to bed at 9 p.m. every night and is happy to stay there until you call him for breakfast! Bolt has been going to doggy daycare and gets along with other dogs with proper introduction.

Come see if you can make Bolt the happiest dog on earth and provide him with a safe and loving home.

Doug

Meet Dougie, the brave and hopeful feline in search of a loving family. Life hasn’t always been easy for him, and he’s a bit cautious about the world around him. But he believes in second chances and is ready to find someone special like you who can offer him patience and kindness.

Dougie loves finding cozy spots to sleep, but he also cherishes the comfort of a warm lap. With your gentle guidance, he’s confident he can overcome his fears and blossom into a confident cat. I

f you’re ready to be his hero and provide the devotion he deserves, inquire about adopting Dougie today. Together, you can embark on a journey filled with love and trust. Will you give this sweet Dougie the chance to be part of your family?

Arrow

Meet Arrow, the one-eyed feline with a heart of gold. He’s a survivor in every sense of the word, having beaten the odds against Feline Infectious Peritonitis. Despite his rough start in life, Arrow is as sweet as they come.

He loves nothing more than to play and explore, and his infectious energy is bound to put a smile on your face. And with his charming personality and adorable quirks, it’s impossible not to fall head over heels for this little guy. So, will you be the lucky one to be Arrow’s bow? Come and meet him today and find out!

Jackie

Meet Jackie, a beautiful and affectionate cat who loves chin scratches and cuddles. Jackie will love curling up next to you almost as much as she loves wet food. Combine the two and you will be the one in for a treat.

Jackie is a well-tempered cat who would love to receive all of your attention but also does great with other cats.

All animals will be spayed or neutered prior to leaving the shelter and receive 1-year rabies vaccination and city license. Ages are approximate.

Chandler

Chandler is pure puppy and then some. He had a great home but do to circumstances that were not is fault he is at the shelter.

He loves to play with toys, in the water, or just snuggle with you on the bench.

Pringle

Pringle is up for adoption! This young girl is a little shy when meeting new people. She does love getting petted and loved on. She walks with lots of dignity in her knowing that she is one pretty dog.

She is very friendly once she feels comfortable, she’s been very affectionate and gentle. Pringle will be great for any type of home environment as long as she’s getting loved on.

Mikey

Mikey was found as a stray. He is very friendly and loves attention. He has a lot of energy and loves to play. He seems to be ok with other dogs.

We think he is approximately 2–3 years old. He is not one to instigate any confrontation with other dogs, but we feel that he would be best in a home without other pets. He is a good boy and would benefit from an experienced dog owner.

Mikey is very independent and dignified. He has shown to be loyal and smart. He is going to make a very good dog for any home willing to give him a chance.

Milo

Milo is a very smart and loving dog, he loves being the center of attention. He is very shy but enjoys spending time with everyone. He does tend to get jealous when someone else is getting attention so a home where he could be the focus would allow him to flourish.

Huskies are highly intelligent dogs and get quickly bored, so they must be kept busy with a variety of activities providing both mental and physical stimulation or you will have an unhappy dog on your hands. An unhappy Husky is a destructive Husky. Huskies will do well in apartments but need a large yard and lots of attention to keep them busy and “working”.

Amy

Amy has been here for months all because she did not get along with the other cat in the home. She tolerates the other cats and just loves the kittens and mothers them.

She would probably be best as the only cat or if you take the time to introduce them properly to another cat or kitten.

She is a love. Comes when called and cuddles on your lap.

Gretel
Hansel

Hansel & Gretel are 15-week-old Shepherd mixes. They were found abandoned. They are very sweet puppies full of energy and lots of love to give to some lucky families. They do not need to be adopted together.

They are ready to go home but will need to come back for their spay/neuter appointments. If you’re looking for a loving puppy to train and grow up with your family, come in and adopt Hansel or Gretel!

Mickey

Mickey is a 1-year-old Aussie mix who loves to run and play! He loves being a lap dog, he loves to do training (so he can get a treat), and he loves saying hi to all the dogs.

He is very smart and will be a fun dog to train. He walks well on a leash and is a great hiker, too. Come meet him in the PAWS Dog Room!

Andrea

Andrea is a young female, she is approximately 1 year old. She is good with other cats and is one of the first to greet you in the Cat Room.

Andrea is extra special because she has thumbs (Polydactyl). She is a beautiful Calico who would love to be your new furbaby. She would just need love, a sunny window, and a soft bed to sleep in. Andrea is very playful, too.

She is waiting for you to visit her in the PAWS Cat Room.

Pappy

Pappy is a 4-year-old DLH Orange Tabby male. He is a sweetheart and gets along with other cats. He loves people and getting pets. Give him a sunny window to nap in and a lap to lay in and he will be the happiest boy in the world.

He has a great personality and check out those ear tufts! You must come in and meet this great cat! In honor of Rescue Cat Month, all of our kitten and cat adoption fees will be waived for approved applicants.

Kiki

Kiki is a beautiful Tuxedo and her antics will keep you entertained! She loves to talk and will tell you stories about her day. She likes running on the wheel.

Bosely

Bosely is a 2-year-old Bichon Frise mix. He came to Jackson Day as a stray with his buddy, Oliver.

Bosley is approximately 2 1/2 years old, neutered, microchipped, and up to date-on all shots. Bosley is housetrained and willing to sleep in a crate or on your bed.

He can be a cuddly little companion but also loves to play outside and roughhouse with other dogs. It would be ideal for him to be in a home with another dog that he can play with.

Bosely is a quick learner and knows “sit,” “stay,” “come,” and “no”. He loves people and likes to be where you are.

Oliver

Oliver is a Maltese mix and is cute as a button! He is approximately 7 months old and is pure puppy.

Oliver came to Jackson Day as a stray with his buddy, Bosley. We have been working on, “Go potty outside” and we almost have it down! Oliver will still need more work on this, along with other commands.

Of course, as a puppy, Oliver loves shoes, garbage cans, toilet paper, and just about anything he can chew.

While shy initially with new people and dogs, he warms up quickly. He loves to play outside with other dogs, and squeaky toys, and just run around. Oliver is neutered and current with shots.

Molly

Good golly, it’s Miss Molly!

Molly is an adorable little mini-Aussie mix. She is about 11 months old. She is housetrained and spayed.

Molly is great with other dogs and she loves people! However, she is a bit too rambunctious for little kids.

Playful, fun, and cuddly, Molly would make a great companion for anyone.

Georgia

Georgia is super playful and loves toys that she can chase!

She also enjoys being right in the middle of whatever you are doing. This sweet as peaches & cream kitten is a cute little cuddle bug as well.

Georgia would make a fantastic feline friend for anyone who loves kitties!

Zoey

They don’t make ‘em much cuter than little Zoey!

Zoey is a reserved, gentle, and sweet kitten with adorable white toes! She loves being with you and sleeping on your lap. She is such a cute little cuddle bug!

Georgy

Georgy is a seriously gorgeous little house panther! Just look at that silky black fur. And those beautiful golden eyes! This kitten will surely grow into a stunning adult feline!

Don’t miss out on the chance to adopt this playful, handsome boy. Stop in at PetSmart in St George to meet Georgy today!

Bernie

Playboy Bernie is approximately two years old. He’s a great boy who is a bit of a clutz but who LOVES playing catch (and will play all day!). He’s very affectionate and great with adults and most likely children … we just haven’t seen him with any yet. He’s also super smart and learns commands quickly!

Bernie sometimes gets possessive of his people and toys when other dogs are around so it might be best if he were an only dog. He’s a total love, though, and is going to make someone a wonderful companion.

Bernie was pretty matted when he came to BAM. He may not require professional grooming but his adopter will need to keep him brushed to keep his beautiful coat tangle free. It’s easy, and he’s so happy when he’s being brushed.

Elvis

Five-year-old Elvis is a big galoof who loves everyone he meets (although he didn’t show much interest in cats). He’s a gentle giant who plays well with all sizes of dogs … even the little ones and puppies. He adores kids but can knock a little one over just giving a good sniff. He has an EXCELLENT sniffer!

Although he’s pretty quiet most of the time, the signature hound bay howl comes out when he plays. It’s adorable!

Elvis seems to have some training. He bolted on us once when we first got him but has been great since then. His new adopter just needs to be aware it can happen and they need to keep him safe, especially getting into and out of cars.

Misty

Who would believe this butterball loves to run and then cool off in a cold stream?

Wide as she is tall, chunky monkey Misty is a lot of loving lap dog! She’s also a super sweet girl who gets along with other dogs and probably kids although we haven’t seen her around any yet.

Misty is 8 years old, spayed, microchipped, and current on her vaccinations. She needs an adopter willing to monitor her food and exercise to get her down to a healthier weight.

Rooster

Thought to be around five years old, skinny little Rooster is such an affectionate boy and so much fun to be around. As you can see, he’s a real crowd-pleaser!

Rooster plays well with all dogs, adores kids, and loves to run! He’s housetrained, neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and is ready to go!

Ryder

Ryder is about approximately one year old and, as with some other rescues, he has some trust issues. He’s cautious around people at first but warms up and is very sweet and worth a little extra love and affection.

Ryder is just learning what dog treats are for (although he loves deli meat and cheese) and still hasn’t figured out what to do with toys. It didn’t take him long, however, to decide he adores ear rubs and pittie scratches and will snuggle up close to be loved on. He will be exceptionally loyal to whoever adopts him as long as they promise to shower him with all the love every dog deserves.

Ryder gets along well with other dogs but can get a bit possessive of his people so his dog buddies should be introduced properly. He might also take a little time to feel safe in a new yard so supervision is critical in the first weeks.

Ryder will need an adopter willing to give him the attention and love he’s been missing, and patience with him while he learns he’s in a safe and loving environment.

Willy

What a cutie pie! Born around mid-January, little Willy is friendly and playful with other dogs.

Willy is a herding dog so he’ll chase livestock and might be nippy because that’s what cattle dogs are bred to do. It doesn’t mean he’s aggressive but he will need to be trained to tell the difference between people and cows. He could be a great ranch dog with a job to make use of his natural talents. If not on a ranch, Willy will still need a job in a home environment and will be happiest with lots of exercise/hiking/running.

Willy is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations. Because of his nippiness, he would probably do better with older kids.
