Boyd

Boyd may be a big boy but he still thinks he’s a lap dog and loves lots of attention. He enjoys walks, car rides, and lots of petting. Boyd’s personality is a mix of couch potato and adventure buddy; he’s happy with either of these things as long as he’s hanging out with a human friend.

At the Sanctuary, he lives alone, but he has spent time in a home with other dogs and did very well. Come and get to know a great senior guy Boyd; he’s been waiting to meet you.

Billy

Billy is such a handsome affectionate boy! With his wrinkly forehead and his perky ears, you won’t be able to get enough of this goofball! Billy loves to bring his toys to people and is happy to throw them in the air by himself.

He is calm in the car and loves to go on hikes. Billy can be a great walking partner, but he can also be a nice cuddle buddy as Billy loves a good nap too!

Billy would do best living with only an adult family as the only pet. His DNA test revealed that he’s 50% Boxer and 50% American Pit Bull Terrier.

Chelsea

Hello! I’m Chelsea. I’m a super sweet pup! Like most pups, I am working on my training and would love to continue that in my new home.

I love attention and pets and I love running and playing. I love every human I see so fill out an adoption application to meet me and see if I’d be the perfect addition to your family!

Aloy

Aloy is a reserved little girl just waiting for her chance to be the cat she wants to be. Very gentle, and sweet, she would be a great addition to any lap.

She is in need of someone to come take her in and give her a nice warm home. You won’t regret it.

Alafair

Alafair is a sweet cat with a gorgeous coat. She loves rubbing against and hanging out with her feline friends, but she is less openly affectionate toward people. She’s shy but curious and loves playing with wand toys.

She prefers that humans not touch her, but she may come out of her shell in a loving home with cat friends. Can you give this sweet girl the home she needs to grow?

Atticus

Atticus! The minute you meet this ball of orange fuzz, he will come right up to you for love and attention, rolling all over to expose his fluffy belly! He would do best in a calm home where he can feel safe and relaxed.

Atticus wants to be pet all over and spoiled with your attention! This big, beautiful boy wants to be YOUR best friend, do you have the perfect home for him?

RSQ

RSQ is a non-profit animal rescue in St. George, Utah. Our mission is to be a voice for the voiceless, bettering the lives of animals in Utah’s rural communities. All the animals in our care are fully vetted including spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipped, and any medical care they may need before adoption. We are open for walk-in visitors on Thursdays, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. For more information on RSQ and our adoptable animals, please contact RSQ at (800) 897-1136 or visit rsqutah.org.

Maggie

Miss Maggie was surrendered to RSQ for some urgent medical needs. She has now been spayed and is beginning treatment for diabetes. She will need a home dedicated to her continued medical care.

The sweetest girl, Maggie, loves people and is said to be good with cats and other dogs. Her cute little legs keep her walking right by your side, and her friendly disposition, right into your heart.

Maggie is house-trained and would be good in a home with other dogs, cats, and/or children.

Billy

Meet Billy. Yup, that’s right – he’s missing most of his front leg and doesn’t know or care!

Billy is a tripawd. It doesn’t affect how fast or far he can run. He will run full speed up a mountainside! He had a genetic test done. He is about half border collie, a quarter husky, and a quarter Belgian Malinois. He is super active and really needs a backyard he can run around in. He is a little over a year old, so he still likes to chew. He could benefit from some training. He knows sit and stay and is very smart!  Billy is house-trained and would be good in a home with children and/or other dogs.

Tripawds have no idea they’re different and just run and play normally! Plus, there’s something special about their spirit. Billy is a great example and is going to bring loads of joy to a forever family!

Billy is in foster but approved applicants can set up a meet and greet.

Willy

Willy is a handsome young lab mix. He is great with people, loves other dogs, and doesn’t seem to mind cats at all. Willy is friendly and playful.

He is currently living in a foster home with other dogs and it’s going great! He will be a medium-large dog, the perfect size for an active family.

Apply to meet Willy at rsqutah.org.

Hedwig

Meet Hedwig, the energetic and chatty feline who will win your heart in no time! This affectionate and loyal companion is always by your side, ready to shower you with love and attention.

Hedwig’s playful nature is evident as he enjoys doing feline parkour, leaping, and bounding with grace and agility. But he’s not just an acrobat; he’s a social butterfly too! Hedwig loves to chat with you, expressing his feelings and desires in the most adorable ways.

Hedwig is the purrfect choice if you’re looking for a feline friend who can keep up with your energy and fill your life with joy.

Geri

Meet Geri. She is in foster care preparing to go to her forever home. Geri loves her sister, Lizzy. They make an adorable pair of furballs!

Geri is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats, especially her sister, Lizzy.  She loves to play and will make a great addition to your family!

Lizzy

This is Lizzy! She is in foster care now preparing to go to her forever home! She loves to cuddle and will make a great addition to your family!

Lizzy loves her sister Geri, and they would make a great pair for your loving home.

Bubbles

Bubbles is 8 years and 4 months old. Her owner could no longer keep her due to illness in the home.

She is a very loving older dog, still full of energy and playfulness. She knows the commands sit, sit up, wait, and does well on a leash.

Rod

Rod was found as a stray wearing a collar. He is approximately 2 years old. He has been well cared for and well trained- except that no one came looking for him.

He knows all basic commands and loves being with people and playing with toys. He can be a bit excited when he first gets out of the cage and jump up but we are working on that. Maybe best to be in a home with no small children until he is more comfortable with not jumping up on you.

Mikey

Mikey was found as a stray. He is very friendly and loves attention. He has a lot of energy and loves to play. He seems to be ok with other dogs.

We think he is approximately 2–3 years old. He is not one to instigate any confrontation with other dogs, but we feel that he would be best in a home without other pets. He is a good boy and would benefit from an experienced dog owner.

Mikey is very independent and dignified. He has shown to be loyal and smart. He is going to make a very good dog for any home willing to give him a chance.

Oliver

Oliver came to the shelter with three other cats who had been left in an apartment for about 2 months with only someone coming to feed them. He is still settling in but loves attention.

He will “usually” come when called, loves being petted, and is learning how to play with toys. He will sit beside you or under your chair just to be close. He is four years old.

Amy

I was found as a stray trying to get into someone’s home. If you’re looking for a wise, independent cat, I am for you. I am low maintenance, low fuss = the perfect housemate. I’ve learned how to occupy myself easily over the years, so if you’re after some company without the ‘neediness’ – I am for you!

I am fascinated with the TV in the room and will sit and watch the activity on the screen and also like playing with the long tunnel toy. I will come when called and love attention.

I give head butts and purr constantly and love looking out the window. I will do best as an only cat where I can get all your love and attention.

Daisy

Daisy is a 2-year-old Schnauzer who is just a cuddly doll. This girl likes cats and dogs once she gets to know them.

She can be shy at first with new things but once she is fine, she can’t stop doing a cute little dance! She is a happy active girl so she would love to be out for walks and socializing!

Come see this girl at the PAWS Adoption Center.

Lucy

My name is Lucy! I am a 6-month-old Heeler/Shepherd mix who loves to play, give kisses, and cuddle! I know how to use a doggy door and I love everyone.

Please come meet me at the PAWS Adoption Center so you can adopt me! I am spayed and current on all vaccinations. I’m ready to go home with you!

Rissy

Rissy is a 10-month-old Basset/Beagle mix. She is an absolute doll who loves to play all the time! She should be in a home with no small animals or birds.

Rissy really likes walks and hikes. She loves to be with humans all day and play with them. Expect many kisses from her!

Come see this girl at the adoption center…she is ready to go home with you!

Max

Max is a 4-year-old male white Tabby. He is a very sweet boy and is that perfect age… he knows when to chill and when to play. He is fully vaccinated, microchipped and neutered.

He would like to meet you and go to his forever home. Max is a social boy and would be okay with another cat in the home.

Come say hi to Max!

Kiki

Kiki is a beautiful Tuxedo and her antics will keep you entertained! She loves to talk and will tell you stories about her day. She likes running on the wheel.

This funny sweet girl craves attention and loves a good cuddle. She is playful, social, and adventurous and is ready to bring your family so much joy and laughter.

Stop into the PAWS Cat Room to meet her.

Michael

At first glance, you might think Michael is a tough Tom with a cool and aloof personality, but honestly, that couldn’t be farther from the truth. When Michael first came to PAWS, he was sensitive and shy. Now he’s still sensitive and shy, AND the sweetest, mushiest little cuddle bug!

He is often one of the first to greet people when they enter the room. Find Michael in one of the cats’ many snuggle beds and he will roll over, purr, and beg you for pets and love. He adores humans, and he gets along very well with other cats as long as they are gentle and calm with him.

Michael is the best example of why you can never judge a book by its cover. Come down to PAWS to meet him today, but be careful, you might never want to let him go!

Bailey Rae

Bailey Rae is the sweetest Maltipoo/mix puppy ever!

This little girl is just a bit over 4 months old and weighs around 12 pounds. She is great with kids and other dogs. However, because she is a smaller dog, kids need to know how to handle her gently.

Bailey Rae is looking for her forever home that will help train her to be the very best dog she can be as she is still very much a playful pup.

She is currently in a foster home.

Molly

This goodest girl is still waiting for her fur-ever home.

Molly is the sweetest, cutest, happiest pup you’ll ever meet!

This perfect girl is approximately 11 months old. She’s an adorable mix of Australian Shepherd and who knows what else! Molly is filled with joy and love for everyone she meets! She loves toys, loves to play in the water, and loves other dogs.

Although she is coming up on her first birthday, there’s still a lot of bouncy puppy-ness in her. Because Molly is so bouncy, she would do best with older kids. She knows some commands and is eager to learn.

Molly is spayed and is a medium size dog. She is potty-trained. She would love an active home with folks who will play with her and take her on daily walks.

Cheerio

Cheerio is a 5-month-old beauty with gorgeous grey fur and stunning eyes!

She can be just a little bit shy at first, but she warms up quickly and will be purring in your arms in no time! With the arrival of autumn, the air is getting chilly. Cheerio would just love to be your lap warmer!

Don’t miss out on the chance to adopt sweet Cheerio and call her your very own!

Leon

Leon is the sweetest grey tabby!

At just a little over two months old, he’s quick to purr and loves to be held and shown affection. His foster found that he loves car rides! He also enjoys having his paws rubbed.

With those gorgeous green eyes, purr-fect tabby markings, and a heart filled with love and purrs, Leon is one very special kitty!

Priscilla

This precious little kitten is Priscilla. She is a beautiful little girl who is going to grow into a stunning adult house panther!

She is about 5 months old and would love to find her fur-ever home where she will be loved and cherished always. Playful, cuddly, and sweet, Priscilla is a purr-fect kitty in every way!

Oliver

Oliver is one adorable little kitten!

He is approximately 2 ½ months old and is just as cute as can be! He loves to play and is full of kitten mischief. Oliver enjoys cat naps and would love to snuggle with you.

With his black and white tuxedo markings, Oliver will surely grow up to be a very handsome boy. Whoever gets to adopt this sweetheart will be very lucky indeed!

Bernie

Playboy Bernie is approximately two years old. He’s a great boy who is a bit of a clutz but who LOVES playing catch (and will play all day!). He’s very affectionate and great with adults and most likely children … we just haven’t seen him with any yet. He’s also super smart and learns commands quickly!

Bernie sometimes gets possessive of his people and toys when other dogs are around so it might be best if he were an only dog. He’s a total love, though, and is going to make someone a wonderful companion.

Bernie was pretty matted when he came to BAM. He may not require professional grooming but his adopter will need to keep him brushed to keep his beautiful coat tangle free. It’s easy, and he’s so happy when he’s being brushed.

Elvis

Five-year-old Elvis is a big galoof who loves everyone he meets (although he didn’t show much interest in cats). He’s a gentle giant who plays well with all sizes of dogs … even the little ones and puppies. He adores kids but can knock a little one over just giving a good sniff. He has an EXCELLENT sniffer!

Although he’s pretty quiet most of the time, the signature hound bay howl comes out when he plays. It’s adorable!

Elvis seems to have some training. He bolted on us once when we first got him but has been great since then. His new adopter just needs to be aware it can happen and they need to keep him safe, especially getting into and out of cars.

Misty

Who would believe this butterball loves to run and then cool off in a cold stream?

Wide as she is tall, chunky monkey Misty is a lot of loving lap dog! She’s also a super sweet girl who gets along with other dogs and probably kids although we haven’t seen her around any yet.

Misty is 8 years old, spayed, microchipped, and current on her vaccinations. She needs an adopter willing to monitor her food and exercise to get her down to a healthier weight.

Rooster

Thought to be around five years old, skinny little Rooster is such an affectionate boy and so much fun to be around. As you can see, he’s a real crowd-pleaser!

Rooster plays well with all dogs, adores kids, and loves to run! He’s housetrained, neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and is ready to go!

Ryder

Ryder is about approximately one year old and, as with some other rescues, he has some trust issues. He’s cautious around people at first but warms up and is very sweet and worth a little extra love and affection.

Ryder is just learning what dog treats are for (although he loves deli meat and cheese) and still hasn’t figured out what to do with toys. It didn’t take him long, however, to decide he adores ear rubs and pittie scratches and will snuggle up close to be loved on. He will be exceptionally loyal to whoever adopts him as long as they promise to shower him with all the love every dog deserves.

Ryder gets along well with other dogs but can get a bit possessive of his people so his dog buddies should be introduced properly. He might also take a little time to feel safe in a new yard so supervision is critical in the first weeks.

Ryder will need an adopter willing to give him the attention and love he’s been missing, and patience with him while he learns he’s in a safe and loving environment.

Willy

What a cutie pie! Born around mid-January, little Willy is friendly and playful with other dogs.

Willy is a herding dog so he’ll chase livestock and might be nippy because that’s what cattle dogs are bred to do. It doesn’t mean he’s aggressive but he will need to be trained to tell the difference between people and cows. He could be a great ranch dog with a job to make use of his natural talents. If not on a ranch, Willy will still need a job in a home environment and will be happiest with lots of exercise/hiking/running.

Willy is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations. Because of his nippiness, he would probably do better with older kids.
