Lannister

Hey everyone, I’m Lannister! I’m a sweet boy, looking for a fun family to call my own! I would do best as an only dog and I love snuggling and hanging around my foster family. I’m more of an at-home guy and would be best in a house with a fenced yard so I can stay feeling secure at home. If you’d be interested in learning more about me, email utahadoptions@bestfriends.org!

Aurora

Aurora is a hound dog ready for adventure! She loves everyone she meets and shows her love by greeting you with a tail that never stops wagging. The way she looks at you with those beautiful golden eyes says “I love you already!”. Aurora loves to play with her dog friends, going for walks, car rides, etc. She also loves toys and sometimes likes to keep them for herself. Aurora is 7 years old and wants to meet you today!

Chad

What do you get when you cross a Belgian Malinois with a Basset Hound? You get a Chad!

His little legs are great for walking and hiking, and he has no clue he is on the shorter end. Chad bonds strongly to his people and needs to meet strangers in a routine way to ensure he’s set up for success. Chad really enjoys playing with other dogs and snuggling up with people he trusts. If you’d like to meet Chad, please reach out to an adoption specialist today.

Danke

This beautiful orange and white guy is quiet and a bit shy with people. But Danke gets along with all the cats he’s met. Given time and a quiet approach, he will let his caregivers offer him pets. He would make a great “friend” for any peaceful cat.

Squeaky

Squeaky is a gorgeous black and white cat who is looking for a wonderful home. He is talkative and friendly with people he knows, but he is an introvert and takes his time letting people in. He wants to be a patient, quiet person’s companion, and he would make a loving addition to any home. Schedule a meet-and-greet today!

Persephone

Persephone is a bit shy around people. She needs a home where she can take her time getting settled in and learning to trust. She loves cats and gets along well with most of them. She is very food motivated and will come running to you if you’ve got treats.
Persephone is a sweet, sensitive girl who is full of potential. She is very small and often gets mistaken for a kitten! She’s looking for a home filled with patience and love, and lots of treats to help her feel comfortable and loved.

Freeway will speed his way right into your heart. He even has a little heart on his forehead to prove it!  He is a friendly and playful Cattle Dog mix puppy that would be good in a home with other dogs or alone. Give us a call and make arrangements to come in and meet Freeway today!

Ridge

Ridge is named after the Blue Ridge Parkway, one of the most scenic roads in the US. He is one of the more unique-looking puppies with his white face, dark ears, and spotted nose. He is very curious and makes sure to stand out! Ridge is a Cattle Dog mix puppy that would be good in a home with other dogs or alone.

Libby

Libby is my name and I promise to be the best and cutest cat you ever had. Despite my rough start, I was part of a rescue where my buddies and I had a leg broken. I am an extremely friendly and loving youngster. I was lucky and only had to wear a splint for a bit. I am really longing to be in a loving home where I can romp and play. We can cuddle too as I really enjoy the attention. And I’m house-trained. Won’t you please adopt me so I can be in a loving home?

Cricket

Chirp, chirp. Although Cricket is my name, I only purr. I’m new and a little shy but I am becoming more adventurous as I get to know the volunteers who are taking care of me while I await my new home. They think I’m sweet and have gorgeous markings. And I’m house-trained. Please come and meet me. I would love to grow up in a loving home.

Wally

I am purrfectly adorable. My name is Wally and RSQ took me in as I had bladder stones that needed to be removed. I am doing great and am on a specific diet, so I don’t risk a reoccurrence. I am healthy now and all I need is a home and someone to scratch my cheeks. I’m a curious fella and like to bat around balls and various cat toys. And I’m house-trained. Let’s meet up so you can see how adorable I am.

Bruno

Bruno is a super sweet dog who unfortunately has not had consistent training and really needs a family who can set him up for success. He has energy to spare and would benefit from a home where he gets enough exercise and mental stimulation. He is a smart boy and learns quickly. It will be important, if you adopt this handsome boy, to give him the opportunity for lots of exercise! He loves people and spending time with you. Bruno is a big boy and sometimes forgets just how big he is especially when he wants to cuddle and share your seat. His adoption fee is $60.

Tigger

Tigger’s owner could no longer keep her. She is very shy but is warming up to everyone’s attention. She loves to be petted and sit with you while you watch TV, read, or just love on her. Make arrangements to come in and meet her today! Her adoption fee is $40.

Lady

Still a baby herself at only 1-1/2 years old, sweet Lady has been the best mom ever since she came to BAM with seven two-day-old puppies. Her babies are weaned and going to new homes and now Lady is looking for her very own person to play with and spoil her rotten.

Lady is a gentle, smart, good-natured goofball who loves to play with people and other dogs (she does not, however, care for cats). She’s the perfect companion! Once she’s been spayed, the adoption will be final and this amazing girl will be yours forever.

Nick

Nick is a beautiful 61-pound neutered male Malamute mix with classic Keeshond markings. He is 7.5 years old, is non-aggressive, and is timid in his demeanor. He will bond closely with a single person but is friendly with all who live in the household. He is good with other dogs and cats and barks only when a new person is in the house or yard. His tail was removed two years ago because of a tumor but he’s fine now. He’s recently been groomed and had a dental so he’s good to go!

Nick likes routine. He walks well once he is familiar with the route. He likes to be both inside and outside, knows how to use a doggie door, and is house trained. If he is the only dog, you can free-feed him; he eats what he wants and leaves the rest for later. Nick likes to sleep in the bedroom on the floor. He doesn’t jump on furniture. He is mild-mannered when giving him a bath and is not afraid of the dryer. He is not very good in the car; if taking him to the vet or groomer he needs to be kenneled or have someone sit with him in the back seat, paying attention to him.

The best family for Nick is a retired couple or individual who likes to chill at home. Frequent travelers are not a good match for him.

Poppy

Poppy is a complicated girl who is both sweet and sassy. She would prefer a quiet home without small children where she is the only dog or maybe has one other small dog friend. Poppy is housebroken is using a doggy door and gets along with her foster’s small dogs but is a loner.

Poppy is approximately 7-8 years old. She was rescued from a life on the streets of Phoenix and is still cautious, exhibiting some defensive behaviors but really wants to trust and love! She asks for belly rubs and neck pets but these must be given on her terms.

Poppy can be picked up and held if needed but she is not yet a lap dog. She fears having a leash or harness put on her but loves her walks! Because Poppy is HIGHLY treat motivated, patient training will likely be successful. She will require an experienced adopter with a slow, steady training protocol, lots and lots of repetition, and lots and lots of treats to help her overcome her fear and aggressive behavior.

Oakley

Oakley is a goofy, fun-loving dog! He enjoys being glued to your side or playing with his toys. He loves hikes, playing fetch, laying next to you, baths, jumping in the water, and his very favorite thing: eating treats! Oakley will be the perfect dog for anyone who loves to be active!

Oakley is currently in foster care. Oakley is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped; all he needs is you!

Barrysouther utah adoptable pets BARRY

Barry is not a lap dog (unless he decides he wants to be). Instead, he is a grumpy boy who came to us with a broken pelvis which still causes him pain. In the year he’s been with us, Barry also suffered seizures and kidney stones. He’s on a special diet and medication for all of these things, but he’s still a grump. And we all still love him!

Since being in our care, the poor guy has had to deal with puppies and big dogs who don’t understand why he doesn’t want to roughhouse. He does get along with dogs who aren’t in his face and likes to fetch a ball as long as you don’t try to take it back from him (Barry’s rules).

Ornery as he is, Barry is kind of our mascot and we want the old guy to catch a break and live out the remainder of his life with someone he can find solace in.

Barry loves to rub his back on the floor and wiggle and loves to have belly rubs by a person of his choosing. He enjoys certain members of our team while others simply aren’t his cup of tea.

Roxy

Roxy needs a playmate!  This girl is so affectionate, full of life, and smart, smart, smart!!! She wants nothing more than get outside and play ball, tug, you name it–she just wants to play!

Unfortunately, life changes didn’t allow pretty Roxy to stay with her family and she has to be re-homed. She’s a wonderful girl (did we mention that she’s smart?) who needs someone with an active lifestyle and time to help develop her mind. She would probably be a great agility dog, frisbee fetcher, and/or running/hiking partner. And once she’s worn you out, she’ll snuggle up to you on the couch for cuddles and cookies. (Exercise and cookies- you can’t lose!) And can you imagine gazing into those gorgeous eyes every day?

Lady’s Puppies

Meet some of Lady’s wonderful puppies Tramp, Mochi, and Scooter. If you’re interested in any of the puppies, stop by that BAM Place Tuesday–Saturday between 9 am–5 pm, or submit a BAM Adoption Application and, if approved, we’ll contact you as soon as possible to arrange a meeting. If you don’t hear back within 7 days, please text us at (435) 773-5209.

Stella

For pitties sake! Really–no interest in this beautiful girl? How can that be? Stella is a wonderful, kind girl looking for love. At five to six years, she had very likely never experienced it before coming to BAM and every day she shows us her gratitude and affection. She’s finally figured out that people want to love her…and we all do! Stella e is so ready to start a new chapter in her life now with nothing but love in store.

Stella was so gentle when she played with her puppies but now they’ve all gone to their forever homes leaving her alone and lonely. She really wants someone to hold her close and play tug with her.

Gentle as she is, she had occasionally acted very protective of her puppies when other dogs or kids were nearby. For that reason, she may do best as a solo dog with no kids (or maybe ok with older, respectful kids), and, we assume, no cats.

Meet the Puppies

Meet the Puppies! Puppies galore! Come meet them at the BAM Place.

If you’re If interested in any of the puppies, submit a BAM Adoption Application and, if approved, we’ll contact you as soon as possible to arrange a meeting. If you don’t hear back within 7 days, please text us at 435-773-5209.
